I did not like the fact that paying over $100 for a well-known brand that this item would be junk after one use. When I purchase a new item, I assume that it will hold up and not be usable after one night! Mattress was placed on top of carpeting and a bed topper and only used by one adult weiging less than 150 lbs. There is no excuse for products that fail after one use. Very pleased with this Beautyrest inflatable mattress. The best feature is the ability to adjust the firmness with the air pressure. I had it fully inflated and then pressed the valve for 3-4 seconds to get the feel just right. Another good thing about this mattress - I don't anticipate it wearing out rapidly like the $300-400 range foam mattresses, which are comfortable for the first year and then become inusable due to flat spots deveopling. Pump arrived broken. Also could not use another pump because this mattress is specific to this type of pump based on how it locks on to inflate. Will have to try and find a replacement pump as it smells burnt when attempting to inflate.
