We bought two different air mattresses for camping. Both had USB something or other. This one has an attached electric cord, which is great for indoor use or electric campsites. If you use it away from electricity, you will need a pump (manual or battery operated) in order to inflate it. We have one and it works, it's just not as handy as the other style we bought. If you have a good pump, this would be a fine choice for you. The USB port on this air mattress is for charging your phone. I didn't have the opportunity to use this feature. The Intex 64112E, for comparison, has an attached USB cord which you can plug into your car charger, portable USB charger, etc. to inflate and deflate. When I go camping, I'm more likely to have one of those packed already, so that's super convenient. Both of these models were equally comfortable and held air well. We missed our return window, so we will be keeping (and using) them both. But if I'd tried them out in time, this one might have gone back. ... show more

Take the manual seriously when it warns that the thing will stretch and thus seem to lose air for the first few uses. It does that for a very long time before it hits its stride and stops sagging. Otherwise, good mattress. The integrated pump works fantastically well. I don't use the USB charger function so I can't comment on that. I only knocked off points on comfort and sleep quality because no air mattress ever deserves a 5/5 on those. The only issue I have is that the top has this velvet-like material that is an absolute magnet for lint, dust, dead skin - you name it, it'll work its way into the crevices - and once there, it's hard to clean it off. Most air mattresses have this now, so I won't knock stars off for it. However, really, I wish air mattress manufacturers in general would please stop topping their products with this velour/velvet/whatever it is. I guess it's to make it comfortable to sleep on with no fitted sheet or something? I always put a sheet or sleeping bag on top of an air mattress though. So the top material ends up acting as a highly effective lint brush which in turn is difficult TO lint brush. Also, no, you don't have to deflate the thing after every use. I have often kept air mattresses perpetually inflated for months or years on end with no issues. Officially, you're not supposed to use one as anything other than a temporary bed but unofficially I've used them as daily beds for years without problems. Just clean your room of any sharp objects that could get anywhere near the bed and you'll be fine. If anything, I would think constantly inflating and deflating one over and over would stress it out more. I think the main danger would be from significant changes in ambient temperature or air pressure after inflation. I'm not an air mattress scientist, though. ... show more

I purchased a twin sleeplux air mattress in november 2023. It deflates during the night and we can't find the leak. I've tried to get to customer service with sleeplux with no results. Has anyone been able to contact them? If so, could you share this information.
