I've used Samsung phones since the original Galaxy S (~2008) and have always had a great experience with them. They feel refined and more polished than most other phones. I even switched to an iPhone for a while but it just did not have the same feel, and everything just felt off. So after 2 years with that I immediately switched back to Samsung. I was running out of space on my S24 and I didn't really care to go with a brand new phone with how ridiculous the pricing has become, so I upgraded one model year, and made sure to get the biggest available storage so I hopefully won't need to upgrade for another 3-5 years. Absolutely love this phone UNTIL it did a system update and it LOCKED. Once the update was complete, it immediately locked the network and would only do emergency calls. Called my provided who advised me I needed to purchase a new sim card, did that and it still would not unlock.
