    • Less then 2 months and one half has E error code & doesn’t work

One half of blanket stoped working . Controller shows an E . It’s been less than 2 months since I ordered it I called Beautyrest customer service. And one of their first options is whether your controller is showing an E. So seems to be a common problem. They are supposed to be sending me a new blanket of which they only have RED , no other colors available until July 2, 2025. So I will be waiting until summertime to get a replacement. On top of that you have to call back for them to send it out on July 2. They will not automatically send it out when it becomes available even though they have an open claim. I will not be purchasing from beauty rest again as this was very bad customer service for a brand name of this size. They also use JLA home for their customer service. I had to call 3x to speak to customer service. Their phone connections when the service person picked up after the automated service, was so bad that you couldn’t hear them. It took three times to get a person that you could actually slightly hear. I could hear the automated service just fine, but not the operator that would eventually pick up. ... show more

Love the look & feel of this blanket. My only gripe is that the adjustment buttons do not glow at night. So if you want to make an adjustment you either turn on a light or memorize where buttons are located. The led with current heat setting does glow, but none of the other buttons light up. Like so many other electric blankets and throws I have bought it didn’t last the cold season and I live in NC. My VERY drafty old wood heated house is only tolerable with an electric blanket or throw and ai buy them time and time again and next thing you know the lights flash error and won’t heat up. This heated throw is perfect. It is incredibly soft, large enough that your feet don't stick out at the end and covers your shoulders. The auto shut off is a nice safety feature.
