I was eyeing this mattress for 4 months before I got it. Finally it was $300 less for Christmas on Amazon and got it. To add insult to injury!! This mattress went on sale to 1450 for Queen after I spent 2700! I was livid. Still am. Mattress is just ok. I have scoliosis and lower back pain and this is very mediocre considering I tried it at store too and got the medium firm. The only thing that makes it somewhat decent is adjustable base AND 3 inch memory foam topper Not the gel kind. Keep shopping and I suggest different brand ... show more

I actually got this mattress for a sleep study. If I had paid this much for this torture chamber, I would have been furious! I chose it because it claimed it was the best for pressure point pain. Well it's not. I got the medium and it's pretty firm. I like a firm mattress but this thing, even after this much time never had any give. When I sleep on my side towards my stomach my knee cap hurts. I have some nerve damage on my thigh from carrying my twins. I will wake up in the middle of the night with my thigh on fire. It's giant. Finding fitted sheets is always a challenge. It weighs a ton. Trying to tuck sheets and blankets under the mattress about breaks my wrist. It's pretty and that's about all I can say positive about it. I have to have a mattress topper on it to make it comfortable. That's been pretty much from the beginning. I was introduced to this Beautyrest Black Firm Hybrid mattress at the Park Hyatt, Sydney. Best nights sleep ever! I have owned the mattress for about 4 months now and it is perfect for me. I am 6’3, 230 lbs. I love a firm mattress(I prefer sleeping on top of mattress- not in it) This hybrid mattress gives me the firmness of a good coil mattress with the feel of foam. Its ideal for back and stomach sleep but has enough softness for side sleeping. After sleeping on a Tempurpedic foam mattress for 12 years, this mattress is like sleeping on a cloud. I have never slept so good and I no longer wake up with back pain. Expensive but well worth it. I recommend going to a bed store to find which firmness is right for you, but this bed is incredibly comfortable ... show more
