My wonderful old neighborhood cobbler passed away over a year ago and I was forced to seek heel repairs several towns over with a dubious character who raised his prices each time I brought him my business. The last time he wanted $75 to put these rubber heel treads on! So I bought these for under $10, and trimmed them with an exacto knife. Boom! I’m never going to that jerk again! It is perfecr quick fix for my US size 6 sandals! I normally get it done at the shoe repair place, but had no time to go so just gave it a try! and surprisingly good for the price! Cut one side of heals slightly off, but still do the job! (did a better job with the other side)

These pads do help shoes that have become too slippery thru time and wear, the biggest issue is the size of the pads. They really need to increase both the front and the heel to cover the soles properly. The pads do stick rather well and if you have a perfectly smooth area, they will work better. I am using them on a pair of walking shoes that have an aggressive tread style and if the edges of pads extend beyond the pattern they will get torn up. The parts of the pads that cover the rest of the pads have no issues. I would rather have an extra large pad that I have to cut to size. ... show more

The product appears to be of decent quality, but there are no dimensions for the pads and the description does not indicate what style or size shoe they are for. The item picture does not help and is somewhat misleading. I was looking to repair men's 9.5 dress shoes and the toe pads I received were less than half the size of the ones needed. Follow-up: I originally rated this product as 2 stars, but on consideration determined that much of my review was based on frustration.
