I actually bought this for my cats, who live on my recliner except when i am sleeping in it. They wanted my own sleeping blanket and i wasn't in the mood for sharing. I have used this one for naps and such and it is very warm but will need a little light blanket help when the nights get down to the low 40's. Do be aware that this is a real shedder. i would not recommend this for a throw or day blanket for a dark couch or with a dark rug. You will definitely see the fall out. It has been washed once and lost a bit of it's shedding without being impacted soft wise or warmth wise. Perhaps a second washing will eliminate this problem.. I will update later.

when I was looking at this blanket, I wasn't so sure about it just from its overall look. the color is pretty and nice variety, except for the texture. I like how its double sided, but i feel the faux fur feels a little greasy. The sherpa is actually very soft though, and I was pleasantly surprised. I decided to give sherpa another chance because I am NOT a sherpa girl. I don't like sherpa in any form. It's hard to break away from that, but this sherpa is better than others. I don't love this blanket, but it's nice.
