They are easy to assemble. Whether other reviewers are correct regarding them being brighter than those sold at local big-box stores, I don't know. But, they are bright, and we are pleased with the amount of light they emit. We did have one problem so far. One of the eight lights had a bad battery. It only held charge long enough to run the light for an hour or two (I didn't time it). At first I thought the light had just quit. Fortunately, these are designed to allow the AA rechargeable battery to be replaced. I substituted an Eneloop AA for the bad battery. The light came on again no problem. I put the suspect battery in a smart charger, and the charger indicated the battery was bad. I am now wondering how many of the other batteries will suffer the same fate. We've only had these out for about a week and really like them. Instead of returning them over one bad battery we are willing to substitute all the provided batteries with Eneloops to ensure good operation. For the price, I would have thought quality batteries would have been included. Maybe this one was just a fluke? Don't know. Would I buy again? Probably. I had no problem putting them in the ground and do not know why others complained the stake breaks. Hard ground maybe? UPDATE: The light that was malfunctioning was not the product of a bad battery as I originally thought. The solar panel on the light will not charge the battery. Even with a full-charged eneloop battery replacement, the light does not charge. Unfortunately, I do not believe I can repair that problem. I have contacted the company as I am past the return window (purchased while doing landscaping and did not install for over a month). We really like these lights. It is too bad a few have some problems. UPDATE: The company already contacted me and is sending a new top for the light. Other reviews indicated this company stands behind this product, and they do! I am so glad. My wife and I love these lights and plan to purchase another set to add more to our property. I am changing my rating to five stars. These are nice, and the seller is stellar. UPDATE 4/26/2023 - Three years later, and I ordered another set of eight. The good about these lights is that they work well. They are attractive and put out good light. Also, they have replaceable 18650 batteries, but after three years the first set of eight lights works well with the same included batteries. I only ordered eight more now because a couple of the originals looks a bit worn, and I could use a few more. Unfortunately, this latest shipment included yet another defective light. These lights have a defuser in the bottom of the lens that helps spread the light emitted by the led in the top. One of the lights had the defuser rattling around inside the glass lens due to its plastic mount being broken. Clearly, this appears to be damage caused at the factory. Hopefully, the company will again make it right. Otherwise, these are really good lights.

Can't say much more than I love these solar lights and will keep ordering them. They are bright, I love that you can set them to a specific color, to rotate colors, or to solid white. They hold a charge well, are glass and metal so they are well made, and last. I have some that I have had for well over a year or two. Good pricing for the quality of the lights.

I placed along my flowerbed and sidewalk. It is now bright enough to walk safely to my front door. But not too bright. I love how the lights radiate the pretty design on the concrete. I had all black in the past but the chrome color stands out nicely. Very good price. Considering another set. All worked and were easy to assemble.

Overall, I'm impressed with the brightness and beauty of these solar lights. The illuminated pattern created by the working lights is both stunning and vibrant. However, my disappointment arises from the fact that one out of the eight lights is non-functional. It's disheartening to have a flaw in an otherwise visually appealing set. I'm hesitant to return all the lights, as the functioning ones are truly wonderful. It would be great if the manufacturer could address the issue of occasional defects, ensuring a consistently delightful experience for customers. The company sent out two replacements and now the set is complete. Very happy with my purchase. Thank you for making things right.

Affordable driveway and walkway lighting, beautiful design. After fully charged in the sun, at night they omit the most beautiful crystal effect design. Nice and bright. Customer service with this company is very good. I had two not working properly in a box of 8, they immediately sent replacements. I ordered another set for the rest of my front drive and walk. We live in the country, no street lights. They are perfect for this application.

The lights were as described, bright, and easily assembled and installed. However, at one week past one year (the one year warranty) one of them has stopped working. It is still in perfect condition without damage, it just doesn't light up, although it has good sun exposure.
