We're mounting these on a Kubota tractor because when you need the tractor for working at night, the headlights sometimes are not enough, especially when you need to look at your work and not just straight ahead in the headlight beam. The LEDs we have mounted on our other tractors seem brighter, but I think these will be adequate, especially since the headlights on the Kubota are better than those on our older tractors. The best part is the directional adjustment, but you have to keep it tightened, otherwise, it adjusts itself when you don't want it to.     • Great looks, good all-around light disbursement..
I traded these off-road LED lights out for some smaller 4-inch square LED lights I had mounted to the bull bar on my pick-up. These filled up the area inside the bull bar perfectly and provided just the look I was after. The lights are slim in profile, so there is still plenty of room behind them to get to the hood latch. I knew these were not going to be long-range lights, but they do a great job of illuminating straight out 60-70 ft and easily 20 ft off to the sides. After that, the light drops off quickly. Using these lights along with a few LED spot lights would be a great off-road combination. The lights stay cool all the time, and the most I measured was 3.5 amps at 14 volts to each light, giving you the option to run them through a relay or just use a heavy duty switch. ... show more

So, if you are not even remotely handy or know your way around automotive electrical system move on. If you do your own wiring or know about appropriate wire gauges, voltage, and amps, and have about three or four hours these lights are for you. Again, this set is just the LED lights and mounting hardware. It does not include anything else needed to install them. With that said, after spending $ on all the other items I needed, I finally had the time to install the lights. Brackets are fairly robust and easy to mount. Lights themselves are bright, but not amazingly bright. I will add that the LEDs emit an almost pure blue-white (absolutely no yellow tint) light which is nice. So far, they've held up well to a few day trips. I haven't taken them on any off-road trails yet, which will be the final test. I don't see any reason why they won't hold up. My biggest, but not the only complaint is lack of any instructions in the box for even a simple a generic installation. Nylon locking nuts would also be a good-to-have since mine have already worked loose once with normal driving. Oh and it would also be nice if Amazon would recommend a 12v automotive wiring kit to go with these things. ... show more

For the price, they're great lights. Plenty bright and I love the round shape as it complements my Samurai's headlights. I've seen other light kits that come with the switch and wiring for just a little more, but this at least gave me the flexibility to mount where I wanted and use my switch panel on my dash. These are quite large. They are similar in size to old school KC daylighters. They definitely make a statement. They are also very bright. They were much brighter, and with a larger beam pattern than many long narrow light bars I have tried. If you like the look of a big round light, these are a pretty good option. ... show more

Tested the wattage of these as well, seems to be the old equivalent wattage method of rating, prefer the honest approach. That said, they do produce a large and bright light. Housing is aluminum. Front lens is weakest link. It is plastic and fairly thin. Will mount them and update with how they wear. ... show more

These lights were a lot thinner than I thought they would be, but it does not affect their output!! They are very bright!! Due to their thinness, you can mount them on the narrowest of bumpers, and still be able to adjust them. They remind me of rally car auxiliary lights or the old KC Hi-lights. They seem well made and durable, even with a plastic lens. The light is spread out nicely, and they don't get hot. Nice addition to a jeep, or on the bull bar of a truck or SUV.
