I love this blender. The only reason I gave it four stars is because sometimes if something is too frozen it will get stuck. So I either have to hit it or stir it. Also, it restarts every time you open the top, which means you cannot start it back up where you left off. So if I started a 3 minute timer and realized at 2 minutes left and it was not working and open the top, to start it again you’ll have to start back at 3. Hope this makes sense. We love this blender. It blends smoothies into a silky smooth texture. Never knew smoothies could be this good. We use oats and they blend up very fine. Also, it blends ice cubes into the smoothies well. The only slight negative is the blender cup is heavy, but that is expected due to it being made of glass. For us older people, we just have to use two hands when pouring and washing, but it beats using the upside down blender cups. Clean up is a breeze. Highly recommend. ... show more

This blender was intuitive to use. It does a great job. You cannot emerse the blender base in water, so if you are wanting one to put in your dishwasher, skip this one. It is definitely a powerful blender and I love that it is glass. A great value!

This not name brand blender is a pleasant addition to my home. I’ve had two Vitamixes and this blender is just as good for my uses. It has preset times and does it’s job very well. I will buy another if I manage to damage this one somehow it as a gift for someone.

I use this for smoothies and even for pancake batter... Once I got in the habit of clicking on power and then turning dial and hitting power again, it was good. The clean option is great but again I had to remember power it up and then press and hold the clean as it pulsed the cleaning. Love this better than my blendtec since I didn't want plastic in my grandchildren's smoothies and other drinks. The glass is strong and durable and not getting any microplastics in the food. the dial has options for nuts and even shakes. Enjoy best value with quality. Seriously...the way this machine blends is magical. I almost feel inspired to open a smoothie shop. But I'm okay making gourmet smoothies all for myself :) Easy to use, and easy to clean (handwash recommended so the electric bottom doesn't get wet). Icredibly smooth blending. Worth every penny.

    • Read the manual first!
If you think all blenders work the same, and you just unpack it, wash out the jar, and start to use it, you may very well have ruined it. READ THE MANUAL FIRST! This blender is different from most other blenders. It looks like part of the motor is in the base of the blender jar (they call it a "cup"). THE BLENDER JAR/CUP CANNOT BE IMMERSED IN WATER, AND IT CANNOT BE DISASSEMBLED FOR CLEANING. You're supposed to clean it by pouring water and detergent into the cup and running it. Given that it shouldn't be immersed in water, rinsing should be done very carefully without getting the base wet. The instructions say to clean the exterior of the jar/cup by wiping with a soft cloth. This alone made me decide to return it without running it - I don't trust myself not to forget not to put the jar/cup in the sink for washing. The whole assembly is also huge. It's relatively slender, but with the lid on and the jar/cup on top of the base, it just barely clears the bottom of my upper cabinet when the blender is on the countertop - 17". I'm guessing that's because of the 1200W motor. I don't use the blender for frozen things like ice cubes and fruit, so a smaller, less powerful motor is fine for me. I really liked the sleek look of it, and I have a white kitchen and wanted a white blender because it stays on the countertop (why does no one make white kitchen appliances any more?! I really don't like the gray ones.) So, it may be an amazing blender, but I'm giving it a pass. ... show more
