I bought this to replace a Rusk flat iron that I used religiously for over 10 years. I was heartbroken that my trusty straightener finally died. I couldn’t find the same model and I didn’t want to drop a ton of money on a new “fancy” iron I wasn’t sure about. This had over 3000 reviews so I decided to give it a try. For $30 and free returns, it was worth a shot! I have long, thick but fine, curly hair. I was able to use this to straighten my hair fairly quickly, although at a higher temp than normal. It was very smooth and I liked that it heated up quickly. I don’t like where there buttons are to adjust the heat and I kept hitting them while straightening my hair. This will be an adjustment. It definitely feels a little “cheap” and I am not sure if it can withstand the test of time and being tossed in my overnight bag and what not. My old straightener definitely felt more “sturdy” if that makes any sense. I’m going to see how this holds up. Fingers crossed it will exceed expectations. ... show more

I love it, heats up super fast and works really well. I have thick hair so a lot of straighteners don’t get the job done but it heats up quickly and straightens fast. Some straighteners pull my hair when I run the hair through but this doesn’t.
