This is a very nice, soft blanket. I cut a strip out of the middle and sewed a bit of binding fabric. It wasn't any special sewing project, so I'm not sure how well it will hold up to washing, but the fabric was pretty easy to work with. My son is six feet tall, so the size I bought was 71 inches and fell above his knees when done turning it into a poncho. You might want to go bigger if you want full-body drape, but I was happy with the end result. All this for a Spirit Week 'go dressed in Pajamas' effort. Nice blanket and very soft. However, they claim it's a large adult size. I am 5'4" and feel it isn't as big as advertised. So expect that when purchasing. Still a well made and soft.
