This wind guard works great. the griddle heats evenly all over now even on windy days. Also the wind no longer blows out the burners when they are on low settings. The rear grease cup fits in place fine. The warmer rack is a nice addition, it keeps the cooked food warm while you cook something else. The metal cover won't fit with the wind guard in place, but the wind guard can be removed easily and folded up. I put it under the griddle on the leg support that runs across between the legsand then the metal cover and canvas cover can be used as before ... show more

I have been interested in something like this for my Blackstone for awhile and am so glad I stumbled upon it during a search I ordered it immediately. It is sturdy and well-made and it is like having a totally new griddle to play with because the 17” is kinda limited being that it is only one burner compared to the 2 burner 22”. My only concern was that my cover would not fit over it however I was pleasantly surprised to see that it fit perfectly! Definitely worth the price and would recommend this to anyone who has a 17” Blackstone. ... show more

Works very well to stop anything from splashing and stops the flow of air to blow out the flame or cool the underneath. Easy to remove and clean. Would recommend for the griddle.

Very well made with good hinges, slots easily attached to griddle and warming rack is added benefit. It really helped break the wind both under the griddle by the flame and on the griddle. We are in a very windy area in the mountains and this worked well. I do wish it went down the sides a bit more to shelter the flame even more but it did work well. The griddle was even hotter when enclosed. Didn’t think I would use the warming rack but did on the first use! Rack is easy on and off so it was simple to take off to better clean griddle.
