If you like to Rotisserie this is for you. You can use big and smaller baskets for whatever combination you like. Runs on D batteries and I already had rechargeable Amazon batteries. Couldn't be happier with the purchase.

    • Motor isn't strong enough
We really like this rotisserie but the battery powered motor wouldn't turn with meat on the skewers. We bought an electric motor separately and it works great.

Got this "only fire Shish Kabob Set with Stainless Steel Ring, Automatic Skewers Turner for Weber 22in Kettle and Other Similar Kettle Grills" for my 21years old, passed down, Weber 22in "Simpsons Anniversary" Kettle. It is very well made, heavy duty, assembly is very easy, fits well together and fits well with the standard 22inch Weber Kettle. 2 philip screws (need a screwdriver) and 1 thumb screw is all it take to put this thing together. It requires 2x D-cells (that are not included) for the rotisserie turner, which in-turn, will turn 7 slots that rotate the skewers. 7 skewers are included, 3 heavier duty ones and 4 lighter duty ones. If you need more skewers, you can find some "flat skewer" from Amazon that conform to this size: 0.4" wide, 0.12" thick, 25"-27" long (25" the skewer part, addition length is for the handle). I was hoping that onlyFire will sell some or at least they should point us to some example listing. The constant rotating, rotisserie-style grilling, really works the best for kabobs, putting the perfect, juicy, grilling effect on the meat & vegetables. And for a backyard party, it is totally possible using this gadget, by manipulating the placement of the skewers and keeping the meats warm/cooking throughout a long period of time while serving & entertaining at the same time, just like a Brazilian BBQ/Churrascaria. For a Brazilian/Churrascaria-style BBQ, with this gadget, upgraded from using just a single-spit rotisserie, you can do multiple picanhas at the same time, you can do different meats at the same time, and the flat skewers work well for "on your plate craving". The possibility is limitless! This thing is not cheap, but I think it is "ok". It does provide both the functionality of a "kabob" griller and a general purpose "rotisserie". And I think there are a few small "additions" (or add on) that can make this the ultimate accessory for the Weber Kettle; for example, 2 small piece that can be screwed in to block all the holes (can make this a smoker addition); a bracket that reposition the "rotisserie" turner to the middle, so that an even more heavy duty split can be used for a large rotisserie (it may work as it is tho, I may try soon); and maybe some rotisserie fork & balancing weight.     • Nice barbecue accessory
I grew up using skewers for charcoal grills and this accessory works great with my 80+ year old skewers! Not the easiest accessory to clean, but other than that, really like this and cant wait until the weather warms up so we can use these more and see how well they last over time.

    • Even Works with Off-Brand Walmart Grills
If you're looking for a foolproof way to enjoy perfect shish kebabs, you've found it. We live out out in the country, in the Deep South. And our land, I do plenty of grilling and smoking. I actually have a nice-sized collection of grills and smokers, usually for different purposes. So while I can certainly grill kebabs with my Masterbuilt Gravity Series grill and smoker, it takes a lot of time and effort. It's easier with one of my kettle grills. But still, you have to go through the motions of constantly rotating the skewers. But you never get an even cook, because you simply can't keep each skewer at the same angle at the same time. You're usually stuck having to simple flip them one way, or the other. People knew to grilling kebabs also tend to forget that there isn't much to actually handle, on most skewers. So unless you plan on wearing heat-resistant gloves the entire time, you can wind up with singed fingers with your hands so closer to the heat when you flip them. No more headaches with this. Even rotation. No need to wear gloves the whole way through. Just an easier, more convenient way of getting a better end result. And much better tasting food. Best part about it for me, is that you don't need to own a Weber or equally-expensive type grill. Not that I have a problem with name brand grills - I have my fair share. But if I'm cooking kebabs, odds are, it's not the only thing I'm either smoking or grilling at the time. Which means this actually works just as well on one of my 22 inch $90 Walmart kettle grills as it would with a Weber. Lid even fits on top of everything. So I capture all the goodness from my Royal Oak lump hardwood (no better charcoal out there). Seems a little pricey. But once you use it just one time, you'll understand why it was worth the investment. ... show more
