  • It works
This item stopped all the bugs we use it four times a year in the winter, summer, spring, and fall and it is amazing. We do not see any once it sprayed..

  • Works very well
I had been having a new ant problem with some tiny but extremely persistent and abundant critters. Various poisons that had given excellent results in the past were only providing temporary, inconsistent help persistent. This Bayer product did the trick with very minimal amounts in limited areas, and it's been a couple weeks without any sightings. Most satisfied! ... show more

  • fantastic pesticide
Use this coupled with an Insect Growth Retardant (IGR) to control all sorts of creepy crawlies that live in the tropical environment I live in (Cockroaches, spiders, ants, mosquitos, etc) It does what it promises, lasts, and prevents infestations. I spray it on my covered walkway, up the steps, and in my outside car park area to control fire ants, and anything else. I spray along walls (inside and out), behind appliances, at doors, on windowsills and on screens (close the windows, spray the screens, let it dry) to prevent insects from getting in the house. Before spraying, put all dishes away, etc. and then spray, and let dry. It is easy to use. Both this product and the IGR have a measuring device built into the bottle to dispense the required amount, you dilute with water (approximately a gallon or so) into a spray bottle, and then spray. It took about two hours for it to dry inside the house (again, only near walls or doors, and in closets along the baseboards) and it is good to go. I no longer have a dog, so I don't have to worry about pets, but the claim from the manufacturer is that once it is dry, it is pet safe. ... show more

  • Bug Man
I live in a rural area where we have all types of creatures & critters. I have a few species of ants& a variety of spiders! The worst problem of carpenter ants! Yes the can do damage. I’ve tried everything kinda bug spray on the shelf, including everyone’s home remedies. Yes some sprays would get rid of them for the day, but come right back the next day. Thanks to this stuff, I feel like a professional bug man! LOL Dilute it with water in a sprayer & spray all around the outside bottom of the house including doorways & windows. Results…. Wiped out. No spiders & ants begone! I only need to spray like once maybe twice in some spots per year. It last throughout watering, the rain, & everything. I have pets. But I don’t spray around them directly. The stuff just dissolve into the ground, dirt, concrete, wood etc. ... show more

  • Keeps working great, especially outdoors
I’ve been using the non-polyzone version of this for years and absolutely love it. It’s essentially oderless and keeps on working for at least a couple of months. It is not designed to kill on contact. It dries and leaves an invisible coating which insects pick up while they crawl around, and eventually die off. It’s not uncommon to see dead bugs laying around weeks after applying this stuff. My original use for this was to control elder box bugs that made their way into our home for the winter. The following year we sprayed the side of the house with this (using a diluted solution with a garden hose sprayer) and we never saw them again. Since then we have used this indoors in our basement, and various other areas to control spiders and ants. It’s been great and costs a lot less than having exterminators come in and use the same product. The nice thing about this version is that it’s more water resistant so it will hold up better with moisture. ... show more

  • First Insecticide I've Actually Been Satisfied With
I've never had something work so well or so fast. I got a Chapin 1 gallon pressurized sprayer along with the Polyzone. I put the sprayer together by following the instructions and used the tag on the Polyzone to figure out what ratio of insecticide to water I needed. I mixed it up, put on a pair of work gloves, pumped up the sprayer to form pressure, and sprayed all along the perimeter of the outside of the house, from the foundation to a couple of feet off the ground, and also did the perimeter of our small shed and a line under each window on both structures. One gallon (aka 1.5oz of this product) was enough to do all of that (our house is one story, about 1800 sq. feet). I paid $50.97 for 160z of Polyzone and $14.89 for the sprayer. So $3.19/oz, or a cost of $4.78 per 1.5oz application (the maximum strength recommended on the product), and I will get 10 applications out of one pint. Divide the cost of the sprayer into the 10 applications and we have a total cost of $6.27 per application. 10 applications will probably last me at least 4-5 years before I need to buy more insecticide and I'm sure the sprayer will last longer than that. That's a pretty great value considering what I would pay to have a pest control person come and spray the exact same product for me. I noticed a drastic decrease in spiders, ants, beetles, mosquitos, and crickets overnight. I live out in the sticks, so there's plenty of bugs of all different varieties. I have seen a bunch of carpenter ants dead on our step outside (they were the main pest being targeted). I tried Advion ant gel first and the carpenter ants and sugar ants were not interested in the least. So happy with this product. I highly recommend trying it out if you want to take control of your house back from these nasty pests! ... show more
