    • Bed broke after two nights with a 170-pound occupant!
This is a very pretty bed (and unlike a previous reviewer, my headboard came in perfect shape). Unfortunately, however, the manufacturer failed to drill a hole in one of the sides--which means I can't finish assembly because there is no hole for the screw to go. I'm now stuck either purchasing a drill or waiting until I can persuade my brother-in-law to come over and fix the issue for me. I can't even imagine trying to disassemble the half-assembled bed and somehow ship it back to the manufacturer... so I'll hope I can self-fix. Updated to add: I purchased an electric screwdriver and a handyman to finish the assembly. No one had actually slept on until this week. My 170-pound, six-foot teenage son slept on it for two nights and the middle support cracked and the bed sagged to the ground on one side. Naturally, the bed is well past the return window and I have no idea how one disassembles and returns a bed anyhow. Now I not only have a broken bed in an upstairs bedroom, but I'll have to disassemble, pay Junk King to haul away, and purchase a new bed. This bed was a complete waste of time and money and nowhere near the quality of other furniture items and beds I've purchased from Amazon. Do NOT purchase! ... show more

No instruction manual included to put this together with about 30+ nuts, bolts and screws. Really guys? The wood and upholstery itself is beautiful and happy with that but this is basically IKEA with no instruction manual foe assembly.

This ships in 3 cartons. We received 1 of 3. Then, we received an email stating the others were returned to the shipper. There is no way to speak to anyone to resolve. A real bummer, as the piece we did receive was nice, but unusable.
