Description
The GenuTrain knee brace provides secure support for mild instability and relieves knee pain and swelling. I bought this for my left knee, which has pretty bad tendinitis. I use it for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and for when I go to lift weights and whatnot. I love it because not only does it support my knee (like a lot of other brands do), but it is really low profile for Jiu Jitsu. That's really important while rolling because other knee braces are heavy, thick, or just fit loosely, causing them to fall off while training. I haven't had that issue with the Genutrain yet and I've had it for about a month. It's a great knee brace for any sport in my opinion. I'm actually going to buy another one for my right knee.

Have tried so many ... the best was a 4-5 year old model like this from Bauerfeind. I have fibromyalgia and a lot of knee pain. Recently went to D.C., therefore lots of walking! Brougjt the old support an a couple of others. It saved me! My left knee would have been unbearable without it. I went all day, night, and even danced ar a wedding with my old one! Got home and purchased this one. New one on the left, old one on the right, and I feel like my old ( younger, per-fibro) self. For me, when the fibromyalgia flares and the knees get bad --- there is no substitute for Bauerfeind! Period. I can even get back in the gym and try to strengthen leg muscles so I don't need the knee supports. (BTW, right now there isn't as much muscle tone as there should be and they still fit, but don't look so good under leggings.) I recommend these without any reservations.

The knee brace is really comfortable to wear when i do my physical activity. Make sure your knee caps fits securely around the knee brace ring, to give the best support when you are moving around. The only negative i have to said after 30 minutes physical activity i can feel the knee brace is slipping out and i have to re-adjust it. If there an extra strap on top and bottom of knee brace to provide more secure fit, when your measure is falling in the middle of the size range. Plus it is odor free after 8 use of the knee brace. This knee brace is really good for doing judo, bjj, and playing soccer.

I purchased this brace in Titanium size:3. I have always had knee issues since I played soccer all my life, then when I started BJJ I strained my knee and had to take time off. I am so happy I found this brace! It's knit so it breathes well and is snug without being to constricting, I can wear it under my Gi and not be bothered by it at all during training. The gel ring on the knee is awesome and provides enough support for me to be a lot more confident in using the knee I injured. According to the sizing chart I should be a size 4 but after reading a few review I decided on the size 3 and it is PERFECT! I use it everyday I train (5 days out of the week) and rarely have to readjust it and I forget it is even on while training, I gave it 5 stars because it does everything it is meant to do. It gives me great support, mobility, and it is a very soft knit material that is very comfortable. In the past I have purchased many cheap knee braces in hopes of preventing new injuries and providing support for my bad knee but I was never satisfied with any of them. These are great, well made knee supports and I plan on getting another one to wear on my other knee as soon as I save up money for it. They are a bit pricey but after using one....I think it is definitely worth it. As with any injury related support, checking with a doctor is always the best way to ensure you are getting the right product. Bauerfeind has many knee supports for many different needs, the GenuTrain was the right product for me and I will definitely be passing on this knowledge to everyone of my soccer/bjj/mma friends.

Once a week tennis player, I run around the court like a madman, so lots of cuts and back and forth and side to side sprinting. Usually play 3-4 sets on a day. I suffered a recent mild MCL sprain to where I couldn't even bend my knee half way for about 2-3 weeks. Finally healed and playing again wearing this brace, after 6 weeks of recovery. This brace is fantastic. Breathes well, and provides enough support to help, but not so much that you feel it restricted movement. I will also sleep wearing it the night after playing (I have two so I wear the non-sweaty one to bed) just to give some extra support while recovering.

Tried many knee supports over the years - this Bauerfeind is the first one I would buy again. Actually, I did. I bought one for my son and he is equally pleased with his. The knit construction of this support makes it so much more comfortable and allows your knee to breathe which means it can be worn for hours. Considering that it is not adjustable, it stays in place pretty well even during rigorous activity. Highly recommended for anyone requiring light to moderate support.

I have purchased 3 of these, 1 per year of running. I have put about 1000 miles a year of running with it on my left knee and it is by far the best brace I have ever owned. It breathes, can be washed, and is very comfortable. It doesn't hinder pace and without it I am unable to run due to tendon damage in the left knee. While it is expensive it will outlast cheaper braces by at least double to triple time. The on caveat for me is that I have to order a size down from what their sizing chart states.
