I have multiple $400 Lola blankets, IYKYK. I wanted a cheaper version to use to cuddle with my ferret under our kotatsu, and because she’s a sable, her hair tends to be very noticeable. I read the reviews on this one and decided to try it out. I cannot shut up about this blanket. It’s softer than the Lola brand. It LOOKS more lux than the Lola, also. I was a little worried about shedding based on some reviews, but mine hasn’t shed at all! It’s very warm and thick, with a bit of weight to it. It has that “jumping” sewing that these blankets have. I got the smaller one and it was plenty for me and my ferret gal. I honestly think I will swap out all of my Lola blankets for this one in different colors. I think of myself as a Connoisseur of Faux Fur Blankets folks so my opinions on this blanket should be taken seriously. I have acquired at least 20 faux fur blankets over the last 15ish years-- it's a problem & I admit it. I've purchased small ones, big ones, cheap-expensive- i have earned my knowledge!! This Blanket is hands down THE NICEST! Holy crap is it soft!! BUTTER!! It is made so Beautifully, it's just very special. I love the bit of stretch it has, it adds to the aesthetic somehow. The color is a rich beautiful Brown, i mean it even LOOKS soft--it's just awesome. It is a perfect weight, not too heavy or too light,, Cozy as a MoFo! Just buy it, get it, live happily ever after with it--you won't regret it. *****UPDATE***** 12/22/25 - I've had this Blanket for almost a year..It's just as soft & beautiful as the day I got it! It has NEVER shed so I don't understand reviews stating it does? When washing these Blankets DO NOT USE WARMTH OF ANY KIND! Washer OR Drier!! The fabric is very delicate so heat will ruin it--even the slightest. Wash on COLD only, and only use AIR drier settings (fluff), NO HEAT FOLKS! It takes about 4 or 5 times to Dry on air only but it is worth the extra time when it comes out perfect. One more thing, NEVER- EVER- EVERRR USE FABRIC SOFTNER. It is wax which will coat all those Beautifully soft fibers and ruin them for good. If you follow these pretty easy suggestions your blankets will stay as awesome as the day you got 'em. I bought the 60x80 size on December 6th. The product description explicitly claims no shedding. While the blanket remains soft and still looks beautiful even after washing the claim about no shedding is a complete lie. This is the worst shedding I have ever experienced with any product. It fits my room's aesthetic perfectly but the mess is unacceptable for a blanket over $100. I followed the instructions for a gentle wash and low heat yet it coats the entire inside of my washer drum and lid with loose hairs. It fills the dryer lint trap instantly. I have washed it at least five times, hoping it would stop, and it has not. The attached photos show the shedding from two different wash cycles to prove it never stops. It gets on everything, including my clothes and my linen duvet cover. I reached out to the company directly regarding the issue and never got a response. They clearly do not care. I am returning this to buy a blanket from a different brand. ... show more

It is the best blanket I have ever had. It doesn’t shed, it stretches, it is unbelievably soft and cozy, and my cats cannot snag it no matter how hard they try!! I love it. It is also the perfect Universoty of Texas burnt orange shade!
