  • Best cordless sprayer I've used yet!
The VASG 2-Gallon Cordless Electric Sprayer is a very well built and portable sprayer that has many uses. I actually saw this type of sprayer come up for review a couple of months ago, and when I saw they were offering it again, I knew having a second sprayer, or even a third sprayer would be real helpful. I can state with utter confidence that these sprayers are of great quality and make watering so much easier, especially for houseplants. One of the first things that I like about this style of sprayer is that there is no pumping of a handle to get the tank pressure built up. With a consistent stream all the time and every time, spray jobs are so much faster and easier. The VASG 2-Gallon Cordless Electric Sprayer comes charged to where you can easily get started spraying after you get the sprayer assembled. I have sprayed several gallons without loss of power or having to recharge the internal battery. And speaking of charging the battery, the unit arrives with a small USB cable to easily hook up to a USB charging port. So convenient! In addition to the included charging cable, there are several interchangeable spray nozzle tips that come with this sprayer. I prefer to use the "rosette" type nozzle for most of my plant watering, and the straight stream nozzle for spraying insecticides where I need to have a steady stream with a reach as high as 20 feet. When I saw this sprayer come up for review again, I knew having two or more of these sprayers would be ideal so I wouldn't have to worry about spraying herbicide one application, watering plants the next, and then maybe a third time around of spraying insecticide. Having more then one sprayer allows me to dedicate each sprayer to a specific use. Included with the VASG 2-Gallon Cordless Electric Sprayer is a very handy strap belt which makes carrying the sprayer around much easier. When the sprayer is completely full, with water weighing approximately 8.5 pounds per gallon, lugging nearly 17 pounds of that much water might get a little tiring. Even so, the sprayer lid has a nice built in handle as well that allows for easier carrying. In my opinion this sprayer really takes into account easiest method of use even for the elderly who might have a more difficult time carrying or even pumping up a sprayer for pressure. This is a very easy to use sprayer. There is some assembly required but well detailed, semi pictorial instructions are included. Following the assembly instructions closely, you should end up with a sprayer that will not leak. The sprayer wand is also adjustable and reaches out to a little over 3 feet which makes reaching those hard to get to spots easier to reach. My wife especially likes this feature for watering her indoor house plants. The sprayer handle is also very easy and comfortable to use with a simple push button to turn the sprayer on, and then push to turn off method. Overall, this is a top notch unit that is well worth having. The price point is well below what you would expect to pay for a "pump up" type sprayer in the one to two gallon range. I would highly recommend the VASG 2-Gallon Cordless Electric Sprayer to anyone who is tired of using the old fashioned pump up type sprayers for their gardening and around the home and farm type uses. • Great cordless sprayer. Makes my gardening treatments much easier on my hands !
I was very happy to receive this VASG 2 gallon, cordless electric sprayer. It arrived well packaged and undamaged. The instructions were easy to follow. I put the unit together fairly quickly. Just attached the hose gun and put the nice carry strap on. It came with a lot of nice attachments to vary the spray volume, direction, etc I wanted this sprayer for gardening purposes. I've been using hand held spray bottles which really don't hold much and my hands get really tired continuously pulling the spray triggers repeatedly. I bought an inexpensive pump sprayer on sale, at a box store. Unfortunately I didn't try it until it was past the return window. I could not get it to work, despite all the YouTube videos out there. I guess it's common for the pump sprayers to have issues. Because this sprayer is electric and easy to charge, I no longer have to worry about a finicky pump. This sprayer came already charged so I was able to try it immediately. I put a mixture of neem oil and water in it to make a gallon solution to help keep pests from eating my rose bush leaves and help protect my hibiscus bushes from white flies. The little (3) holed tip was perfect for the job. It produced a wide/light spray that went on effortlessly and neatly. All I had to do was aim the nozzle. I need to do these treatments fairly regularly to keep my rose bush leaves looking flawless, white flies away from my hibiscus, and my roses and hibiscus blooming nicely. This sprayer holds enough solution for me to finish the job without remaking the solution. You may want to try just using one gallon (which is half a tank) first, if you think you might have any issues with carrying two gallons on weight. You could also use a little wagon to help you transport this sprayer. I am good with a 1-1.5 gallons, using the shoulder strap. Next I plan to use this sprayer to help me fertilize my fruit trees and planter vegetables. I'm sure it will be good for all kinds of things. Thank goodness this sprayer and I found each other🙌! ... show more

  • Good power sprayer with a loose wand holder
These battery powered tank sprayers are really handy for quickly and precisely watering a lot of potted plants. This is the fourth of these Amazon has sent me to try. In some ways it's the best of them. It has great water pressure. Either the best I've tried or tied for the best. It's also the quietest sprayer I've used; the motor just makes a lot less noise, which is neat. It comes with a variety of spray nozzles. Like I say when reviewing almost all of these sprayers, I wish this came with a pour nozzle that dispensed a steady stream of water from a plastic tube. That would be more useful for watering potted plants without making a mess than spray nozzles. But it's not too hard to convert one of the included spray nozzles (they include more than you need) to a pour nozzle if you're handy and have a properly sized plastic tube and some silicone sealant (I used the empty ink tube from a gel pen). Or, if you're less handy/patient, you can just take one of the included nozzles and unscrew the blue plastic cover (which has a few small spray holes in it) to expose a single larger hole that works for pouring. As for the design of this sprayer, I mostly like it. The handle is built into the cap, which works. It also has a shoulder strap, which you can shorten enough that it stays out of the way but use it as a secondary handle to hold the tank with when you're refilling it (because the main handle is in the cap). The cap in the handle also has a channel/slot in the top that holds the sprayer wand when it's not in use. Or, it's supposed to hold the wand. Mine stopped gripping the wand after a few days and the weight of the wand would make it slip and fall out. I fixed that by wrapping a layer of electrical tape around the wand shaft to thicken the outside so it fits in the holder more tightly. So that's a bit annoying and I'm docking a star for it. This mostly feels and works like a well made product. If they fixed the wand holder (or included a pour nozzle for us potted plant folks) it would easily be worth the $25-30 they are asking for it. As it is, I'd still probably recommend it if you want to try one of these sprayers. All four of these tank sprayers I've tried has had at least one "catch" like this, and this loose wand holder issue is at least easy to fix with a bit of tape. ... show more

  • Great capacity and battery assist for the price — perfect for routine plant treatments
I ordered this 2-gallon VASG battery-powered sprayer to apply sulfur to my houseplants. I collect Hoyas, which are prone to flat mites — a pest that's difficult to see, so I spray on a routine schedule as prevention. It's a messy job, so I carry my plants out to the front porch and use this sprayer outdoors to get full coverage, including the undersides of the leaves. This sprayer was super easy to assemble and use right out of the box. It went together in just a few steps and was ready to use within minutes. It works perfectly for this purpose. Battery life is excellent, and I have no trouble getting through all my plants on a single charge. The included nozzles are versatile — I can choose from several depending on the job — and they're good quality. Most of the sprayer is plastic, but the tips have metal ends, which should hold up well over time. The only feature missing that would improve it for me is an internal agitator, though I wouldn't expect that at this price point — I've really only seen it on larger agricultural sprayers. Instead, I just give it a shake between plants, and that's enough to maintain good coverage. The 2-gallon capacity is great, since I only need to mix one batch to spray everything I need. If I have any leftover, I use it on my blueberry shrubs, which also benefit from sulfur. This is a great sprayer for the price. It's barely more than a basic hand-pump sprayer from a big box store, but offers a lot more capacity, battery assist, versatile tips, and better overall quality. ... show more

  • Works well, but rechargeable has its drawbacks
I have a couple of professional-quality pump sprayers that I love, but I also have a large property. The idea of an electric sprayer held a lot of appeal. Anything that makes a tedious job faster is worth trying. This comes with several different nozzles, although for my purposes I will probably only use the standard one. It also includes a shoulder strap made from durable nylon webbing, but I prefer carrying a sprayer by the handle. The tank and lid are made from fairly thin plastic and feel inexpensive. The hose and wand, however, are good quality. Everything fits together tightly, and I had no issues with leaking. I also like the slot in the lid that holds the wand when it is not in use. In use, the sprayer provides consistent pressure and uniform distribution. It gets the job done, although I did not find it significantly faster or easier than my regular pump sprayers. My biggest hesitation is the rechargeable design. It comes with a short USB charging cable but no wall block, and charging takes a long time. After five or six hours, mine was still charging, although it had finished by the following morning. That means using it requires more advance planning than grabbing a pump sprayer when I notice weeds that need attention. Charging also creates a practical problem for me. Sprayers inevitably get chemicals on them, and I don’t want to bring mine into the house. The short USB cable and lack of a charging option suitable for my covered outdoor receptacles make that difficult. The wand can be separated so only the handle portion needs to come inside, but that still means handling potentially chemical-covered components and then bringing part of the sprayer indoors. It works exactly as a sprayer should. I just discovered that a rechargeable sprayer isn’t as good a fit for the way I work as I expected it to be. ... show more

  • We cannot believe the price —it works flawlessly
What we love: •This thing allowed us to kiss the old hand-pump sprayers goodbye at an unbelievable asking price (equal at the time of purchase to that of a fast food combo!) •Charging it was rather quick via a fast charger and cable •The telescoping wand is very convenient for those needing to reach tricky spots •The included nozzles are much more than we needed to get the job done •A single charge was enough to complete our gardening project •The included shoulder strap is much appreciated as it helped in distributing the weight to where it was much easier to carry around than our old hand-pumped sprayer which did not have a strap at all •Swapping the nozzles is as easy as twisting on and off •The sprayer is super lightweight (when empty) What a prospect buyer should know: •We were extremely doubtful that this was the whole sprayer (given the price) and we almost did not order it thinking it would be just the wand —but we were so lucky that we took the chance •As of now, we see that the product is no longer available, but if it comes back in stock, we strongly suggest that you get it •We also own a 5 gallon rechargeable sprayer that we purchased on Amazon for $299.99+ tax, of course, and we have to say that this smaller pump performs almost as good as that one —the stream is almost as strong as it is in the larger sprayer •If you happen to come across this product, be careful not to lose the spare gasket as it comes in the plastic bag with all the other noozles and it would be easy to lose if not careful ... show more

  • No More Pumping a Sprayer by Hand
I do enough work around the house, garage, and yard that I wanted a cordless sprayer instead of constantly stopping to pump pressure back into a manual one. This VASG 2-gallon model gives me enough capacity for useful jobs while still being something I can carry around. The cordless operation is really the reason I wanted it. With a traditional pump sprayer, it always seems like the pressure starts dropping right when I'm in the middle of something. Having the sprayer handle that part lets me concentrate on where I'm actually spraying. I also like having different nozzle options. Not every job calls for the same spray pattern, so being able to change the way the liquid is applied makes the sprayer more versatile. The wand is useful for reaching areas without having to bend down or hold the entire tank awkwardly. Two gallons feels like a sensible compromise for my use. It holds enough that I'm not constantly refilling it, but I wouldn't necessarily want a dramatically larger container once it's filled with liquid and I'm carrying it around the yard. For gardening, general yard work, or other appropriate household applications where you're tired of manually pressurizing a sprayer, the cordless design removes one of the most annoying parts of the job. ... show more

  • Excellent Product!
This VASG 2-Gallon Cordless Electric Sprayer is an excellent product! I really like the way the sprayer works with the additional nozzles. I managed to put it together despite the lack of clear instructions. They did include a little pamphlet, but it was of no aid! The little app that you connect to is, for all intents, useless. However, the sprayer itself is a good value for small jobs. It is reasonably priced and is an excellent tool to use in place of squeezing a sprayer bottle. Worth a try! ... show more
