Battery Powered Backpack Sprayer 3.2 Gallon, VAXMAY 80 PSI Electric Graden Sprayer Works with Makita 18V Battery, Weed Lawn Sprayer with Telescopic Wand, 5 Nozzles, 2.0 Ah Battery & Charger included I ordered this sprayer on June 18th, arrived on June 27th, littledelivery, shipped via USPS, left at our front gate, box had a couple holes in them, arrived intact and nothing missing. I ordered this backpack sprayer a little wary because it can hold up to 3.2 gallons which means 8.34 pounds per gallon = 25 pounds of liquid + 8.33 pounds of the sprayer weight = 33.3 pounds total weight. For most people that are healthy and without back problems the weight is not a problem but I’ve had five spinal cord surgeries so I wasn’t sure if my back and shoulders could carry that much weight for an hour. But I also have problems with my arms hands and fingers so lugging around 16 pounds of traditional manual sprayers (of which I own four) is tedious and painful - so I decided to at least try it. Fit and finish is nice, no sharp edges or burrs, lots of plastic type material used, telescopic nozzle is nice, 80 psi is not bad, extra nozzle tips is nice, compatibility with Mikita battery is nice for homeowners that own Makita cordless equipment but I don’t, nice that they designed in a storage area on top for extra nozzle tips, straps are pretty wide but I added on a cushion that I made out of extra dense shipping foam, they lack a fixed stream nozzle which I have a need for to reach areas that I cannot access (down a steep slope), the adjustable nozzle did not define into the narrow stream I required. The control knob on the bottom left is within reach, telescopic wand adjust easily, battery locks in easily and is protected in the compartment. I did not find a web site for this manufacture or product, nor do I see a link for customer support, only the Amazon Report An Issue link. Likewise warranty support is thru Amazon. The suggested MSRP is reasonable given that many name brand manual 2 gallon sprayers are already upwards of $35 in the big box stores, so for a little bit more you can purchase this 3 gallon rechargeable backpack sprayer. For me, wearing it is very uncomfortable if carrying the max volume of 3 gallons, is too heavy to carry for an hour plus, but that is me and not a healthy person. So I’m going to limit the amount of liquid to half the max capacity. I am giving this sprayer 5 Stars despite my personal limitations on use, which is not my norm when I review a product and find something lacking. I’ll probably look into a hand cart sprayer that I can drag around.

Unlike the lunchbox style, this version works more like an atv sprayer. It has a pump that pressures up, and stops when it has reached the set pressure, then resumes the moment pressure is released. Whereas the lunch box just pumps when you press the on button. This version generates a MUCH higher pressure and no more clicking a button on and off. It has a more conventional spray wand. My biggest complaint is the wand is not very good. You have to squeeze the lever down all the way to get it to release, and doesn't allow one to just gently let a little spray out. It's all or nothing. Though it could be replaced as there is no electronics to the wand.... definitely a plus in my opinion. The battery is included, otherwise it would have been a hard pass. The concern here is finding a replacement. That's a choice some will need to make. The hose seems high quality, and isn't to stiff. The padding works well enough for the few hours I used it. However the straps are bit low quality, and uncomfortable. The fasteners on the straps don't grip that great. I have concerns about them standing the test of time. I could see needing to replace them. A version like school back packs with all the padding would have been much better. All in all I am pretty happy with it. Much better than the smaller ones in my opinion.

I have a lot of plants, so watering them all is a constant arms race of sorts, especially with climate change. This backpack sprayer helps a lot. After receiving it, it requires very minimal hose and wand assembly, then it is ready to be used. It comes with five nozzles, but I mostly use the windproof nozzle, maybe I'll have a use for the others, but they stay in the built in storage compartment on the main tank for now. The backpack straps are pretty comfortable, as is the plastic lumbar fitting. Filling and refilling the main tank is as simple as taking a hose and putting it in the top until the water level is where you want it. Recharging the battery is odd but simple, it has a DC port, plug the included plug in and it'll charge to full. Watering with it is a good experience, though when filled to max capacity, it takes a moment for your body to acclimate to the waters weight sloshing around with each step. The only thing I would change about this in a future version is include a longer hose, it can be difficult to reach certain nooks and crannies of plants with the current length. It is definitely a good value, one of the lower priced options in its category.

I ordered this high-capacity battery-powered backpack sprayer because I have over two acres of land that require treatment. This sprayer is far superior to the average garden pump sprayer for several reasons. First, the backpack option is much more comfortable to carry than toting a two-gallon garden sprayer in one hand. Second, it’s battery-powered, so no more manual pumping to achieve the correct spray pressure. Third, it is fully self-contained and comes with all the necessary accessories, such as nozzles, a wand, a battery, and a charger. Fourth, the pump develops high pressure, allowing me to reach previously unattainable areas with a pump sprayer. Finally, the storage compartment is a nice perk because it helps me organize the accessories. My overall experience with this sprayer has been highly favorable. This product is more commercial-grade, so in some respects, it exceeds my requirements. Consider this product if you are in the market for a garden sprayer.
