  • Garden said thank you!
Solid budget-friendly option for small to medium yard jobs. Good ergonomics, decent spray options, and the included battery/charger add real value. Some caveats apply if you’re tackling heavy-duty or extended-use spraying. What I liked Comfort and balance: The backpack design distributes weight well, and the padded straps make it comfortable for longer sessions. The lightweight 3-gallon tank keeps strain reasonable. 100 PSI performance: Provides steady, even spray for lawn weed control, tree line edging, and garden beds. Good for foliar sprays and herbicides with the right nozzle choice. Telescopic wand: Extends for elevated plantings and hard-to-reach areas without bending or kneeling, which is handy for tall shrubs and fence lines. Nozzle versatility: 5 included nozzles cover a range of tasks—from fine mist for delicate foliage to a more targeted jet for weeds. Easy to switch without tools. Battery and charger included: A 12.6V system paired with a 4 Ah battery gives reasonable run time for small to mid-size jobs. No surprise extra cost and you can swap batteries if you have a spare. Quick refills and simple maintenance: 3-gallon capacity means quick refills, and the pump/valve setup is straightforward to service. What could be better Battery life in heavy use: For dense weed treatment or large yards, the 4 Ah battery may run down faster than expected. Having a spare battery is almost a must for bigger tasks. Build heft for long sessions: While comfortable, the overall unit can feel a bit tippy if the tank is near full, especially on uneven ground. PSI ceiling: 100 PSI is adequate for most residential spraying, but professionals handling dense herbicides or tree injections may want higher pressure or a larger capacity unit. Hose length: The hose is workable, but a longer hose would improve reach around larger shrubs or raised planters without moving the unit constantly. Who this is best for Homeowners with medium-sized lawns, gardens, and weed control tasks. People who value an all-in-one package (sprayer, nozzle assortment, battery, and charger) at a reasonable price. Gardeners who need a lightweight upgrade from manual sprayers but don’t require industrial-duty equipment. Tips for best results Use the nozzle settings appropriate for your task (fine mist for foliage, broader spray for soil or trunks). Test on a small patch first. Start with a light spray to prime the pump, then gradually increase to your desired pattern. Keep the battery charged between uses and store in a cool, dry place. If you don’t expect to spray for a while, remove the battery to preserve longevity. Clean the sprayer after use to prevent clogging—flush with clean water, especially if you’ve sprayed thicker chemicals. Consider picking up a spare 4 Ah battery if you intend to spray larger areas in one session. Verdict If you’re looking for a budget-friendly backpack sprayer that ticks the basics—portability, decent spray options, and included battery/charger—the Vtoeir 3-gallon model delivers. It’s well-suited for homeowners who need a reliable tool for lawns, garden beds, and light to moderate weed control. Not designed for heavy-duty commercial use, but for most residential tasks it offers excellent value with practical features. ... show more

  • Order Electric Instead of a Backpack Manual Pump Sprayer – I Have Been Using a Manual
Definitely order an electric sprayer. I made the mistake a couple years ago and ordered the Amazon’s Choice more expensive MANUAL backpack sprayer. I thought long and hard about electric versus manual and made the wrong choice thinking my infrequent use would cause a manual pump to be more trouble-free than an electric. Even after 2 years of use, I was still regretting the manual choice. There is a long lever that needs to be pumped just about the entire time you are spraying. That’s because the entire inside of the sprayer is not being pressurized. Just a small cylinder in the tank is being pressurized. The continual pumping uncomfortably rocks the backpack back and forth. This rocking causes the wand in your other hand to not be held steady. Sometimes overlapping rows of spray can damage greenery. Iron overspray can permanently stain concrete surfaces. Dyes can temporarily stain. FEATURES I LIKE: • The Vtoeir sprayer is very comfortable on the back. The ribbed foam pad against your back is comfortable. The straps are padded adequately for comfort. There are no waist or chest belts which are not needed. There’s a world of difference between comfort and stability of the Vtoeir to my manual pump sprayer. • Another nice thing is that the inside bottom of the sprayer has a circular flat area that divert the last remaining fluid into the pump (SEE PICTURE NUMBERED “1”). This lets you spray all the contents and helps when cleaning. • I’m left-handed and most items are made for right-handers. So, typically something is awkward for my use. Not so with this sprayer. The sprayer wand hose is flexible and long enough that I can pass it behind me from the right side to the left side. The power/pump speed control located on the lower left is easily accessible with my left hand (SEE PICTURE NUMBERED “2”). • The battery compartment is on the lower left (SEE PICTURE NUMBERED “3”). The battery is installed before putting on the backpack (SEE PICTURE NUMBERED “4”). The battery is not going to need to be recharged during one session by a homeowner. I sprayed 5 gallons and all 3 battery charge status LEDs located near the power/pump speed control remained illuminated. There is a non-waterproof flip down door for battery access. • One corner of the sprayer has 2, 4-, 6-, 8- and 10-Liter markings which can be used when diluting concentrates. ASSEMBLY: Be sure to install the rubber washers as indicated in the User Manual. Where there are pre-installed O-rings, rubber washers are not needed. On my first assembly, I only added a small amount of diluted chemical so I could test for proper assembly and leaks. EXTRAS: A spare power/speed control knob is included. Four extra wand/nozzle washers are included. OPERATION: • I only needed to slightly turn up the speed control to attain the spray pattern strength desired. I only used full speed when cleaning. • I extend the spray bar fully, so my sprayer nozzle is far in front of me and relatively close to the ground to prevent spraying myself and overspray at the edges. This helped minimize overlap of rows. CONS: • The battery does not have charge status LEDs. The charge level is indicated by 3 blue LEDs on the lower left side of the backpack (SEE PICTURE NUMBERED “2”). • I wish there was a carrying case to store the battery, charger, large “Shower Head”, 4 nozzles, 2 wands, spare parts and manual when not in use. A sprayer is useless if accessories and washers are lost. Some larger sprayers have built-in closed storage capable of storing important smaller nozzles and other smaller accessories. In lieu of on-line storage or a carrying case, everything can be stored in the sprayer once clean and dry. I store the battery in the battery compartment unplugged. • I wish a small measuring cup marked from 0.5-3.5 ozs. and 5-100 ml. were included. These are the volumes normally used for surfactant and dye when mixing gallons of chemical. STORAGE WHEN NOT IN USE: • The manual does not list this but all connections where there are rubber washers or O-rings should be loosened during storage. If not, they will eventually become permanently compressed and cause leakage. • The handle trigger should also be left in the locked open position during storage to prevent compressing the inner seal when in the closed position. USER MANUAL: • Two-sided 11” x 16” foldout sheet. • Complete with color pictures and written in grammatically correct English. • An email address is included for support. WARRANTY: None stated. SUMMARY: Because there is no warranty stated, I rated 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise, I highly recommend this Vtoeir electric sprayer over my manual pump backpack sprayer I have been using the past couple years. ... show more

  • Backpack Sprayer - Battery Powered 3.2 Gallon Vtoeir
We live out in the boonies and there’s always something that needs spraying—fence lines, weeds, fruit trees, you name it. This unit has turned out to be the latest answer. It’s replaced my old 1-gallon and 2-gallon hand pumps, a 3-gallon backpack sprayer, and even comes close to matching the performance of my ATV tow-behind. The spray distance and power are more than enough for most tasks, and the battery life has held up well through multiple uses without needing a recharge mid-job. I hadn’t heard of the brand before, and there are a few quirks worth noting. The battery is non-standard and charges slowly, plus you have to remove it to charge, which isn’t ideal. It’s also on the heavier side and could benefit from better shoulder straps, especially for longer sessions. That said, it’s still a solid piece of equipment for anyone dealing with regular spraying chores. If you’re looking for something that saves time and effort compared to manual options, this one gets pretty close to the mark. ... show more

  • Perfect size for around the house.
I really like the size for just around the house use. Much bigger and they get to be a real burden to lug around! I like the options for spraying it comes with. I've had others that don't have good options. It also has decent spray power... for what it is. Though don't expect commercial strength. My biggest complaint is the battery. It does not charge via USB-C. Though maybe there is a limitation there? ... show more
