I was contacted buy the seller to make sure I received my product and to make sure it wasn't damaged, because they were concerned that the shipment might of been damaged. Super nice and also said that since it was a Christmas present if I had issues I could contact them for a refund after Christmas if I had issues. Which I didnt it worked great and customer service was top tier!

Worst design ever. We have bought two of these and the side buttons keep popping off and the thing falls apart. The head strap for the quest two was better design. They need to fix the design.

So the headset works great. It’s comfortable and easy to install. It has a variety of levels you can tighten it on your head so you can get the most comfortable weight distribution. We couldn’t use the silicone cover sadly. It seemed to keep the heat in and it was making my daughter’s Oculus overheat and get laggy and it freaked her out so she took it off. It hasn’t overheated like that since so we are assuming that the silicone was keeping heat in and not allowing the device to temperature control as well.

It is impossible to play not only with the battery life but also the head strap that comes with the base headset. I know it’s a bummer considering the price point for the headset you just got but it is so worth it in the long run. Nothing I hated more then gaming for a long time and that vr battery running out, this has become a life savor! It’s super adjustable and customizable to your head to not have those eyeglass pieces falling off your eye every two seconds. It does its jobs well, providing stability while playing and an extra boost of longevity.

The product came un-assembled but was easy to put together following the manual & the pieces went together securely. The unit snapped on the Quest 3 with some effort which is good. There are 3 areas of adjustment: the padded head strap, the side length & the angle of the Q3. The head strap has hook & loop fasteners on both ends for easy adjustment. The side length is adjusted by a one way knob on the rear of the head strap. To release the tension or rapid changes there is a button on the rear for fast coarse adjustment & removal. The knob is to tighten the side length. There is a pivot point on the sides for adjusting the fit & angle on your face. Since I wear glasses, I can't use it to flip the front out of the way but not so important with the Q3 with the color pass through making it easy to see around you. I found the top strap to be very comfortable but a little warm on my bald head. The rear padding is also very comfortable & the pivot makes it easy to get a good fit. After using the Q3 for awhile it was time to charge both batteries. It took about 5 hours to get the green light in front on & the nice numeric display to say "100%". After unplugging the charger, I left the Q3 for about 90 minutes & when I came back, the display read 83%! The Q3 was off so I have no idea where 17% of the charge went. I tried this a couple of times & each time charge "disappeared" by just sitting there. I noticed when the rear battery was plugged into the Q3 the green light was always on as was the digital display. It's not great to trickle charge these batteries, so I took to unplugging the rear battery between uses. Also, there is no way to see the charge state of the rear battery until you turn on the Q3 which is not very convenient. However, I felt this might cause the Q3 connector to fail from over use, so I added a 90° connector I had laying around. I figured it was way cheaper to replace a 5 dollar connector than a $500 Q3! It would have been better to add an ON/OFF switch instead of the useless LED lights on the rear. As far as extended use time goes, it was very dependent on what I was doing on the Q3. Sitting around doing a little fishing or mini golf it extended battery life significantly. When I started playing a PCVR game, the use time dropped significantly but still added some time. Bottom line, this is a very comfortable & well made head strap but the battery circuitry needs to be fixed before I can recommend it. UPDATE: I happened to get up in the middle of the night & noticed a strange glow on my desk: the LEDs on the back where dimly lit which explains some of the self discharge I notice. They need to fix this!
