The EGOWAY Battery Extension Pack for Blink Outdoor 4 is an easy way to add some time between battery changes for Blink 4 Outdoor cameras. I like to watch wildlife, so I have most of my Blink cameras running 24/7 to catch nature whenever possible. So, finding a way to lengthen time between changes and potential downtime is great. The EGOWAY battery pack does a good job essentially doubling the amount of time the cameras will run before having to swap out the batteries. On the plus side: - The battery extension screws tightly into the battery compartment of the Blink camera and the original camera case screws into the extension with no problems. - The EGOWAY kit comes with a silicone cover that fits snuggly around the camera and battery extension and should help to keep the camera somewhat waterproof. - I appreciate the fact that the kit comes with 4 AA batteries and they are a name brand. On the negative side (minor, not deal breakers): - The batteries supplied were normal AA. However, the Blink user manual requires the batteries to be Lithium AA batteries (see picture of Blink User Manual). - I'm a little disappointed that there is no rubber/silicone seal between the original case and the battery pack extension. The silicone case is pretty snug, but the back of the silicone case has a wide opening. Without a seal between the OEM camera and the battery pack, I'll have to see how waterproof it actually is over time. - Finally, the design of the extension utilizes the OEM camera back. The only mounts designed for the OEM camera back must snap in and are barely strong enough to hold the normal camera configuration. It would be much better if there was a replacement back included that allowed for a more secure and better articulating 1/4inch screw mount.

Got this pack for my Blink Outdoor 4 because the regular batteries were dying way too fast, especially in colder weather. Installation was super easy — took just a couple of minutes. It fits well, and the silicone cover feels solid and seems to offer decent protection against rain and moisture. So far, it’s been running without needing a recharge, which is definitely better than the standard batteries.

Easy to setup, easy to add on, so far it is great! It seems sturdy and well made, hoping this relieves me having to climb the ladder to swap batteries often! The downfall was, while it had batteries with the extender they were not the lithium batteries needed for the camera! But other wise it was great so far!
