  • Awesome mask, awesome price!!!
Size: One Size Color: As Shown
Ok, I have been looking for a Bane mask for some time now. I tried the 2 different CoserX versions the painted and unpainted. The painted version was super tight and the top part that goes overhead was uncomfortable. The unpainted version was unbearably right around the jaw and mouth. Mind you I wear a 7 5/8 fitted hat comfortably, so my head is large but not huge. As a last ditch attempt I took a chance on this one because if the couple good reviews among the numerous negative. Well I got it today and couldn't be more pleased!!! Yes it's typical Halloween mask material, not the rigid rubber CoserX uses. And, yes the paint is not 100% perfect. However, it is very spot on to the movie mask! It's just the accuracy of the painting goes outside the lines on some parts. I fitting just slightly loose is great!!! Very comfortable, I can breath and move easily! Doesn't leave any marks on my head or face like the other 2 either. I'm not a Cosplay contestant so the very sutble imperfections do not bother me one bit. Plus, if you are into Cosplay shouldn't you be making your own original creation and not buying a prefabricated mask anyway? Bottom line, the negatives others have posted, are positives for me. It stays in place just fine while being totally comfortable. The durability seems to be just like any other Halloween mask, if you don't totally abuse it, it will no doubt last years to come. I have masks I saved from childhood made from the same material that still for just fine. Not to mention it cost almost 75% less than the other 2! I recommend this mask for any anyone non competitive. ... show more

  • Good price, crappy quality.
Size: One Size Color: As Shown
For the price, this was a cheap and quick costume. there aren't a lot of good costumes for a big bald guy so I was excited to order this mask and go as a recognizable character. Unfortunately, when I got the mask it was really warped and the paint job on it was terrible. On the metallic hoses running along the top the painter literally ran a stripe down each hose leaving over 50 % of the hosing the same color as the rest of the mask. this was pretty much consistent with the rest of the parts that were supposed to be metallic silver as well. There were a lot of places where silver, brown, or black paint was slopped on the mask carelessly. Thankfully I ordered this item with enough time to alter it to my desire. I had re paint at least half or more of the mask, and use some extensive wire supports to get the mask to look like someone hadn't ran it over with a truck. I was quite happy with it once I had put in the time to make it presentable. While it is a cheap buy, I would urge those last minute Halloween buyers to spend the extra cash and get the movie quality masks that are out there, unless you feel like half-*ssing your costume. I did have to cut and bring in the size of the mask as well. I have a pretty big head and it was still loose on me, I can't really count that against the makers as it would be rather expensive to make multiple size masks at the price they offer. For you project people out there, this is a great idea as well. You can use the mask as a frame to get the general look and go crazy with your own detailing. Sorry this was so long. I just felt like informing the buyers on what they are ordering. ... show more

  • It's bad, even for $20
My expectations were rather low for this mask. Some friends and myself wanted to dress up in costume while attending a showing of The Dark Knight Rises. I wanted to go as Bane so I ordered this mask. I originally ordered another $60 from a different location but it wasn't going to arrive in time for the movie viewing. Well, both masks happened to come in on the same day and this one is really disappointing even for the low price. It doesn't look anything like the supplied picture or even like the mask worn by Bane in the movie. It also has a weird shape to it as the sides that attach to the mouth are way too low. Both of my ears were almost fully exposed and the mask sits way too low. On top of that, it is made from cheap (not inexpensive) material that has permanent bends in it from shipping. There is a bend in one of the mouth tubes that refuses to come out so it looks like something is missing. Even for $20, this mask is a ripoff as it feels like it came out of a $0.25 machine sitting in front of retail stores. This might be the officially licensed mask but it isn't worth your time, effort, or money. I would have ranked it a little higher had the mask not sit so low on my head and/or if my head is abnormally shaped but it isn't. Even in the inaccurate picture for the mask, it sits too low on the guy's head. Save your money and go for a rubber replica mask from a different seller if you want something that is a little more accurate (they are $40 more than this). Those still aren't as accurate as the $200 mask that's been floating around but at $60, they are well worth it and actually look movie accurate. My suggestion is to start saving instead of blowing $20 on this as you will be a lot happier even if it is for something as silly as dressing up for the premier of a movie or Halloween. Needless to say, I ended up wearing the other mask instead of this one and I will likely give it away to whoever wants it. Luckily I purchased the mask when it was $15 but it is still $15 wasted. ... show more
