    • Sure beats trying to do the same research online.
Refreshing to see pleasant pictures of bathrooms that are not completely ridiculous. From looking online, you'd think the typical American bathroom was twice the size of my living room, with vaulted ceilings, a sitting area, a marble fireplace, and French doors onto a private veranda looking out at a nature preserve. Well, for those of us who don't have a million bucks to spend on the loo, this book has some good ideas. I recommend picking a goal and reading through, then repeating as much as you like with other goals. For example, I've read this once just to get ideas on what to do with the wall space above the toilet. I've read it for ideas about layout, color combinations, storage, sink styles, tile size and patterns, faucet types, etc. Much more useful than looking through pictures online! p.s. I think there's text in this book, too. :) I've spent so much time looking at the pictures that I don't remember any of the text, which is probably a good sign - if the text had been garbage, I would have remembered that! p.p.s. Yes, I am too lazy to go get the book and actually review the text right now. It's an idea book, not a how-to: you're not buying it for the text anyway. ... show more

I bought this book with no intention of reading it, only to look through the pictures for ideas related to a bathroom remodel project. It served it's purpose without complaints. The reason I didn't give it 5-stars may not the fault of the book, but I didn't pull any substantial material/ideas out of it. ... show more
