The backpack is made well and holds all of the baseball gear (helmet, bats, glove, balls, etc). I like that the main zipper pocket can be left open and nothing spills out when it's hanging on a fence. BUT the color is very different than pictured as I ordered the "royal blue" which looked like cerulean blue in the picture but is more like a violet/indigo in person. Also, the pockets for the bat on the side are too small to fit a youth sized bat or a regular water bottle. We end up putting the bats in the water bottle pocket and just can't use the smaller pockets unless we find a skinny water bottle. I also wish there was Velcro to hold the bat in place instead of an elastic band. Otherwise, I do like that the bats stay straight up. ... show more

    • Nice looking bag, couple issues...
First I thought the bag was sturdy, look nice, was comfortable on the shoulder straps. However, and this is my first time buying a bag with straps to hold the bats, so maybe this is normal... But the elastic straps did not hold baseball length bats very well. I wanted something that I could store a bunch of baseballs in, and then have the bats attached to it. This seemed like a very convenient idea. But the elastic things to hold the bats didn't hold them very well and they would slide around side to side and felt like if I or to take the bag off my back, the bats would slide off and away that I would be scrambling to reinsert the bats into the bottom part. Almost seemed like they would be top heavy, so to speak. And they would fall out if they weren't balanced just right. ... show more
