I had some humidity problems in my crawl space. I replaced the vapor barrier but it didn’t quite solve the issue so the next step was sealing the crawl space and installing a dehumidifier. I recently purchased the BASEAIRE AirWerx100X. Within a few days, my crawl space humidity was reduced from in the high 60s to 50%. My crawl space is approx. 2400 sq feet so it is a large area and needs a powerful unit. The AirWerx100X was a very easy set up. I took approx. 2 hours to install the unit. Easy install-you just need an AC receptacle, some cement pavers to use as a base and you need to provide and exit for the pump. It has worked flawlessly. The condensate pump is a real benefit. No need to empty water reservoirs. It also has a changeable air filter to protect the evaporator and condenser coils. The controls are simple to use. I elected to use an indoor controller and placed it near my thermostat so I could monitor and change the humidity level without having access the crawlspace. I checked out a few other mfgs before purchasing the BASEAIRE AirWerx100X but in the end really liked the fact it was a well-built commercial quality unit.

It was easy to set up in my crawlspace and worked great. Then my crawlspace flooded and eight inches of water got into the unit. When the water receded, the unit did not work. The manufacturer response was great. I told them that it flooded and asked if there was a reset or fuse I could try. Since I bought it just a few months ago, they said they would cover it under warranty -- even though it was a flood, not a defect, that caused the failure. They had me open it up to see what was going on and I sent them a picture of the control board, which had obviously been halfway under water and showed major corrosion. So they sent me a new control board, I installed it, and the unit is working again.

This is a great dehumidifier. I have a new requirement. It needed to be stationary to place on a shelf over the basement slop sink, controls needed to be accessible for the side or front, not the top. Dehumidifier not those requirements and it does a great job. It is very powerful and use the whole to directly drain the water into the sink. It was easy to set up. It is very stable, weighing between 35 and 40 pounds on your shelf.

The media could not be loaded. In terms of weight, it is light and easy to carry around. Getting it set up was also easy and straightforward. Best part is it automatically adjusts based on humidity. With this, I only need to set it up once, and the machine does all the work. It not only dehumidifies but also work wonders in increasing my house structure’s expectancy. Overall this is a great product to have.

Received unit. Installed in crawl space. Plumbed up and left overnight. Woke up in morning and all water leaked out of the bottom. Pump works when manually pressing but won't work automatically. Reached out to them, took several days to respond and they're telling me to take apart the unit and troubleshoot it. Told me maybe the pan is cracked or float switch is bad. That's great but it's a bear to get into the crawlspace and then to mess with it. They didn't even offer to replace unit but to send me ness. Parts so I can fix.. they'll provide a "video" they said. No thanks. Returned.

So grateful for other reviews that led me to purchase this one. Cant be happier with the performance!! We have a very tight dirt crawl space under our old farmhouse, that has been damp and musty. The musty odors were so bad they were coming through the hardwood floors inside. We got this dehumidifier and placed under the house and i am so happy that the odors are gone and you can actually see the damp dirt under the house starting to dry. Awesome unit and so easy to set up!
