I've recently been using this to put some fuel lines together and it really is a lot better than just trying to do them in your vice alone...but the magnets used in this particular tool are really weak and it keeps popping out of the vice whenever you go to insert or remove the fittings from the jaws. I guess for the price of this tool compared to the other more expensive ones, it's worth getting. But I'd rather them use better magnets and charge more. ... show more

Very easy to knock these off of the vice when jaws are open. Other than that, they are fine when workpiece is clamped in place. The design for holding pipe works well.

these are pretty nice, fit into a bench vice just fine. finish and quality seem pretty solid and I'm happy with the purchase. my only complaint is that the magnets arent strong, like at all, but its not a huge issue.

These vise jaw pads will get the job done. They are somewhat of a PITA to use because they are constantly moving and falling out of the vise because the magnets are weak. But if that doesn't bother you, they work fine once the vise is cinched up on the fitting or hose.
