I was disappointed with the quality of the product: Definitely not worth the money! 1. The drawers fall when you pull them out--there is no track for the drawer to be suspended. 2. The light that is supposed to activate when opening the safe DOES NOT work-I changed the batteries -still doesn't work. 3. The workmanship of the inside velvet doesn't completely cover the inside and it is wrinkled in places. 4. The inside of the safe has a peculiar odor--nauseating. I could have bought a regular safe with shelves for less than half the price and would have been more staisfied. I never complained before about a product but I feel I was ripped off. Unfortunately, I had to pay a moving company to take it to my upstairs. I would return it, but I don't want to pay movers again! ... show more

It is made nicely but it is smaller and does not have a place for necklaces, Overall though it serves its purpose. I think it is overpriced too compared to what I saw after my purchase. So that is why I gave it three stars

I purchased this safe and it arrived yesterday. It arrived in perfect condition and the default passcodes were easy to reset. So far I'm very happy with it. My friend (who was helping me move it) remarked about how nice looking he thought it was.

After researching safes for a while, I opted for this AX13104 jewelry safe. The size is big enough for my needs, holding my watches as well as a watch winder. The hardest part was moving it, being light enough for me and my son to move, but still heavy enough to be awkward. The instructions were easy to follow. It took just a few minutes to set the lock and install the light. The only negative relates to the two draws which are preconfigured. One is fairly open, but the second one is configured with small spaces and for items that I don't need (rings). Unfortunately the inserts are not removable, limiting the usability of at least one drawer. It would be nice if they gave an option or if the inserts were removeable. ... show more

The safe arrived in a really beat-up box, although the safe was not damaged. Mechanically it appears to be well built but cosmetically not so much. The lining material on the inside was not well applied and has wrinkles on it. The motion-activated light does not work at all and the manufacturer says they are out of stock on replacement lights - it will take about 2-months to send me a replacement. The "mounting hardware" that they refer to is nothing more than two lag-bolts. In order to secure the safe to the floor in addition to an extra long drill bit, you will need a deep-well socket a short extension and a ratchet wrench. Fortunately the two drawers are removable so you take them out to initially place your items in the compartments. ... show more

Once you receive it, the instructions say you have to pay an additional $90 for them to honor the warranty. The instructions for setting up this safe don’t work. The company (Barska) never answers their phone number that is on the instructions. I have called many times, during business hours. The default pin codes for opening the safe don’t work. The instructions then say to push an “initialization button” located inside the safe, which obviously you can’t reach because the door won’t open.
