I got the 2700k variant for my garden and with them tilted at the right angle, the deer gets startled by it cuz the light hits them right in the eyes and the rabbits jump from it for the same reason so definitely recommend the two pack for two different heights of critters.

I'm using these on the motion detection setting and am very pleased with them. The light is very bright and the motion detection is excellent.     • Good Solar Lights! But don't seem to be serviceable.

I was super worried about these because they sat in the closet for a while now and did not work out of the box like all of the other solar lights I have owned. Practically all of them with the exception of a few stragglers in a pack here and there all work out of the box for at least long enough to confirm they work. These did not! I was kind of scared I had a full set of DUDS!!! Well, I sat them in the window overnight. It's only about noon now and they are all working just fine after getting a few hours of sun! The price on these is slightly higher than others I have ordered, however, at about $43 for a set of 4 putting them at just over $10 each, is not horrible for this type of quality... I kind of like these... They are built pretty well, they feel premium to some degree. However, these all have something rattling around inside that kind of takes away from the overall feel of quality. But the housing if good to go. Did I mention they are not seemingly serviceable? Meaning I do not see a way to easily get them open to change batteries, or parts if you are savvy. This is a bit of a disappointment and the main reason for only giving a 4-star rating. Pretty much all of my other cheaper lights can be opened and have swappable batteries and such. And these are nice, so I don't want to go puling on things and such when they may not be meant to be taken apart. It comes with all the stuff you need to set them up. The brightness is acceptable for sure. And this is coming from previously being totally dead to just a few hours of sun. Should be fine for a ton of applications! They are larger than other spotlights I have ordered, this includes the solar surface area. They each have 2 lights per head with I believe 3 levels of brightness. They have motion sensors!!! Ya know what, I'd recommended these. While I have tons of cheaper options I could recommend, these are a bit of a step-up quality wise.     • Good For Nocturnal Animal Deterrence

I have several types of small solar lights on our property but have never used a solar light this size that can be set to motion. That got my brain to working and it dawned on me these lights would be great for deterring deer and rabbits from our garden area at night. I installed all four at different angles so regardless of which nocturnal creature comes near our garden, one of the lights should hit it at eye level. The lights are simple to install and set up, and the brightness of the lights is decent. Since I installed these a couple of weeks ago, I haven’t noticed any plants being eaten. Now I need to set up a trail cam and see what’s really going on out there at night. You can also program these to stay on from dusk until dawn, or set them so they stay on a low light all night and then go 100% for half a minute if the motion gets triggered. ... show more

Very good quality solar path lights they last through the night on auto. I don't use the motion function but it works as it should they are bright and were a good value for the price when I received them.

These are very solid lights. The warm color is really pleasant. They hold a strong charge that stays lit well into the night, even when you have them on constant full brightness.
