I'm a mom of 3, and this is my 4th and absolute FAVORITE baby monitor ever!!! I got my first baby monitor 8 years ago - it was cheap and broke after some use, which was why we got a second one. The second baby monitor only supports 2 rooms and we had a 3rd baby so we got our 3rd baby monitor. The second one was traditional with a camera in baby's room and a receiver unit in ours, but the receiver stopped charging correctly a long time ago. I was SO frustrated with the receiver unit. Then came...the LOLLIPOP baby monitor!!! OMG I love it so much! First of all, there is NO receiver unit, which saves on material cost and waste, and takes away my frustration with a receiver unit that wouldn't charge, and that was my only source of viewing the baby! With the Lollipop baby camera, parents can view their baby from the convenience of their phone app, and it's an app very well made. User name and password are required to log in and view your nursery, which makes it as safe as any other security devices out there. My husband had some security concerns about hackers, but nothing of the sort was ever reported, so we will place our trust in the security features offered by Lollipop for now! Secondly, it is the EASIEST baby camera to be installed, ever! All we had to do was wrapping the lollipop camera around the crib and done! The material feels great and is very durable. Thirdly, the app has so many great functions! The color and night vision are amazing. The view is broader and more clear than the other monitors we've had. The app offers many music and sounds to be played in the nursery, and I went in to listen and realized just how gentle the volume is. I don't ever have to worry about hurting the baby's ears for it being loud! The app has many other great functions like adding more kids' rooms, keeping and sharing moments. The Pros outweigh Cons significantly, which is why I still give 5 stars. But I want to point out my main "con" associated with this camera - The sound goes in and out sometimes, and there is a delay when I communicate with baby, that is probably due to the internet being slow. The music feature is amazing, but once it took me 5 connections to connect back to music and switch it off. Again I think it is because of internet connection, which makes the usage of this baby monitor completely dependent on wifi.

We have purchased two Lollipop Baby Cameras for our little ones, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. The camera's adorable design immediately caught our eye, and its performance has exceeded our expectations. First and foremost, the setup was a breeze. The user-friendly interface made it easy for me to connect the camera to my phone and a tablet for the babysitter, allowing us to keep an eye on our baby from anywhere. I’m not one to typically write reviews but this product is seriously amazing. When I was pregnant, my husband and I spent hours looking for the perfect baby monitor. We didn’t want something that came with a screen or a camera that cost a fortune. We came across the lollipop and immediately were intrigued. We bought the product and set it up right away. Having the option to wall mount of wrap around a crib was perfect as we travel a lot (they also sell a case for traveling that helps protect the camera). The app has a setting where you can turn on the noise to the camera as background noise so you can monitor your baby while still being able to use your phone; perfect for night time. The camera also has night time mode. Subsequently, you can also take little pictures of your baby through the app (great for when you find your little one in funny sleeping positions). The camera app also has cry detection so if you aren’t watching the video or listening to the camera in the background, you’ll also get a notification that your baby is crying and can adjust the sensitivity level to the crying sound that the camera detects. No subscription; just a one time fee of $160. After a year of us owning the camera it started making this tapping noise every few seconds in nighttime mode (very annoying). I send a video to support and they messaged me back saying they were unable to trouble shoot the issue on their end and as a result informed me that they would SEND ME A NEW CAMERA WITHOUT ASKING FOR THE OLD ONE IN RETURN after purchasing the product over a year ago, insane. Purchase, you won’t regret.

I have a confession to make, I fell victim to the “top selling” “most popular” item on amazon. I bought the......infant optics monitor. Now, had I done my job properly, which I generally do with every tech/gadget/tool/anything I buy, I would have researched properly and found WiFi monitors are the way to go. After a week of issues, I decided to go for the lollipop camera. It arrived this morning, next day - thank you Amazon. So the packaging is slick, like a giant iPhone almost 😁. It neat, sturdy and feels like a quality product. This is stage 1 of the review - initial setup and thoughts, though I will post an update after a few weeks of living with it. The setup via the app was freakishly easy. To get the camera up and running was simple - the settings that you may want to change will require some brain power but it’s no different from any other app. The USB power lead is lonnnngggggg, which is great as having a 1m cable would suck and be pointless. Video quality is a huge step up from the other brand I had, wide angle view and maybe a 2 second max delay. Pan and tilt is not a feature and I was a little worried about this until a saw how much more picture you get with this thing. The bendy arm is great and I’ve attached ours to the pack and play corner with ease. And when the time comes for the little monster to move to his own room, I’ll wall mount it above the crib. So when we originally looked at cameras, we thought why get WiFi, don’t need it on our phones etc etc. BUT after the arrival of our pride and joy, my thoughts have changed. I go back to work next week and being able to look in on the little man eases any negative feelings about leaving my family and going off to work. You may not think that now, but for you men saying “I’ll enjoy going back to work for some peace and quiet” you’re wrong, after 2 weeks with our baby, your heart melts and you WILL want to see him during the day while you’re sat in your office, in your truck, or wherever you are. Stage 1 review done - summary - great initial setup, impressed with video and the app. No issues so far. UPDATE. So it’s been a couple of weeks and I have to say....it’s awesome. Notifications if the little man is crying, crying loud are great. The picture quality is also great. I’ve not had any connectivity issues but then my WiFi is solid as I installed it all myself. One minor complaint - when you use the built in sound generator (sea breeze, vacuum etc) it overpowers the audio feature on the app. Our little monster has to be really crying to hear him. We have a separate sound machine which we will use to get over this, but having the speaker and mic so close with no filtering seems like a design flaw. But not a deal breaker for such a great monitor. Update - 09/08/19 So the connectivity issues have started. Drops almost every other hour. Will be fine for a while, then a firmware update is sent out and it’s almost unusable. Seems lollipop are their worst enemies, great product that is ruined by terrible patch releases. The QA team should be ashamed to be honest. If it was within the return window, I’d send it back and try the more expensive one I was looking at....let’s see what lollipop will do for us. Rating dropped to 2 UPDATE 3 - 19/12/30 So the WiFi is a little more stable but the android version of the app is a disaster. We moved the little one into his own room, hoping this monitor would do the job we paid for. Unfortunately the audio stream we have running stops anywhere between 2-5am. The app hasn’t crashed, network is fine...app is just useless. Almost ready to pay more and get a smart monitor that actually works as this is terrible. The support is woeful - a screenshot of the network test is what they asked for to prove the network was down?? Really, do they think we’re lying.

I've had this camera for 3 months now and figured I've used the camera long enough for an accurate review. FYI - I'm a first time mom and a software tester, so I will be speaking about the camera/app from both angles. I absolutely LOVE this camera. When I was pregnant, I had done a lot of research and was going through reviews of all of the top, expensive monitors. I wanted to get something that had it all, but was extremely hesitant on the big price tags. Then, I came across this camera! I had read mixed reviews, especially with the app, but wanted to give it a chance. I break software for a living anyways and figured I could find some work arounds. I don't use everything that the app offers, but below are my opinions of what I do use. PROS: - Very easy to connect to the wifi and get everything set up. Very rarely do I have connectivity issues, even with the camera multiple rooms away from the wifi router - Both my husband and I can be looking at the monitor at the same time on our phones - Excellent camera quality - both during the day and night. Other moms have commented on this and were impressed when they saw it - Able to use the camera as a sound machine through the app which came in super handy when I didn't have one - LOVE that I can pop out the video pane and browse elsewhere on my phone while still seeing/hearing baby. - Love having recordings saved of events on the timeline - Cute camera that is very easy to place anywhere CONS: - Not the most user friendly interface - can be confusing figuring out what each symbol means and only certain functions can be accessed based on whether the camera's detailed/simplified view is selected. Once I figured it out it is fine, but takes longer to do what I want at times - Restarting the sound timer is cumbersome - I had to go reselect the desired timer for the specific sound so it would restart instead of having a restart button. There was also no option to just let it run infinitely until I tell it to stop. I don't use this anymore now that he is in his own room, but this would have been nice in the beginning - The sound machine aspect overwhelmed the mic once he moved into his own room and I needed to hear him (not much you can do about that and now I just use another device farther away) - The auto night vision sometimes shuts off and displays a black screen. However, this doesn't last longer than a few seconds and usually I do not need to see the video at night - If the camera loses connection while you have the camera in standby mode (camera off), it's very difficult to turn off standby mode once it reconnects. Nowadays I just keep the camera on always to avoid this, otherwise I have to toggle the mode, back out, go back and toggle again, and back out again. Very annoying. - The biggest con for me is when the camera loses connection and I had the background audio setting on (letting me still hear the audio when the app was closed or my phone screen is off), the setting is not retained when it reconnects. This is not a big deal during the day but is vital at night. I have once had the power blip off in the middle of the night and the app audio shut off. My son woke up and was crying for 30 minutes before I woke up to my silent phone (normally white noise is playing) and 10 crying notifications. Felt like the worst mom ever and baby was pretty shaken. This thankfully has only happened once, but it happened when I needed this most. This app really should retain the last used settings/set up the user had, even if it temporarily loses connection with the camera. I am docking a star for this alone as the other cons I have workarounds for. For me personally, the pros outweigh the cons as the big negative has only happened once. I enjoy the convenience of having the app on my phone, the video quality, and the features it has. The only connection issues I've had appear when the power goes out (we live in Florida and it is currently the rainy season) I love this camera and, looking back, would have bought it again. If this changes I'll be sure to update this review.

This is a great baby camera for those looking for an internet-based option! The swiveling head and bendable stand are great design options that make this practical and useful in a variety of settings! We love the portability of this product and the image you get when checking on your littles ones. There is one wall hanger accessory (it looks like a little branch and i love the look), and additional ones are around $30 I believe, so it works best as a single location camera but also can be hung up informally in other locations. Great for travel and finding a spot to hang anywhere! Hanging it on the edge of a crib works in theory, but as our kids grew it really was within reach for them so we pretty quickly switched to the wall mount which we love and is so cute on the wall. The online app is great, since purchasing a few years ago the app has gotten even better with updates and now remembers some of the WiFi networks for easier set up when going to a familiar places. It allows you to review half hour stills and any recorded crossings or crying. This makes for very sweet viewing later-on as the kids have gotten older and more active. We even have my little ones first steps recorded because we sheered so much it saved it as a crying alert :). When a babysitter is over, there is a little challenge in having a monitor available without requiring them to download an app or have one of our phones. We found having our iPad to give to sitters works best and does the trick. There is an option to log in on a computer, but this has not been as effective as hoped. The streaming is rather stilted through a desktop. This could be due to our lower home network speeds though. Excellent design and user interface for daily activities on the app. I also love how cute they are and we now have one for our second little one. The design, portability and features have made us return customers already!

This camera is amazing. We got our first camera when my daughter was born and have relied on it ever since. We really loved it/used it so much, we bought second camera when my son was born. Standout Features: -Both the day and nighttime picture have been crystal clear for us and I love that you can zoom very easily. -it is wifi dependent (yes you need to have decent/good Wi-Fi) so I can stream from any device at anytime, multiple devices at the same time -able to view cameras while not home has been the most clutch feature for me. I can run to the local store while my son is napping (husband wfh) and keep on eye on him. You have to have it off private mode for this -sound only with no video is also great at night bc it doesn’t kill my phone battery and you can use other apps at the same time. With two cameras, you are able to view dual screen in the app or just one. I have taken my daughter’s camera on a bunch of trips and never had an issue with it working. Occasionally my daughters video (older camera) would go in and out and not work - the fix was usually that either the camera software or app software wasn’t updated. Each time resolved the issue for us. Had one issue with my sons camera and customer service has been extremely responsive and helpful. Overall excellent purchases for my family and we do really rely on these camera on a daily basis.

I have looked everywhere for the perfect baby monitor and finally have found it for my third baby! First of all I fell in love with the look of it, it's chic and easy to move anywhere in my house or travel with. I love how smooth the feeling of it is! For the newborn stage she never sleeps in her crib because she's in our room every night in a bassinet. This monitor has been incredible during the daytime since she sleeps in different places all over the house and often on a blanket on the floor. I can easily move the lollipop around and when I leave the room she's in I have her right there on my phone. I've never seen a baby monitor that is so versatile where you literally set it up on any surface by twisting the tail, mount it to the wall, or attach it to the crib. The Lollipop was very easy to set up. I am so terrible with anything techy but was shocked how easy it was. I didn't even have to ask my husband to help! All you do is download the app on your phone, input your email and within a minute you are connected to the lollipop through wifi on your phone. I feel much more peaceful with my newborn because the lollipop detects crying vs regular noise. As she gets older I'll feel safer knowing that the lollipop will alert me if she tries crawling out of the crib. There's so much else! The built in sound machine, the amazing night vision, the timeline of photos I get to keep of my baby girl, and I love that I can invite family members to watch her with a link! This is the coolest baby monitor on the market and I don't think there is a better one that exists. I've gone through so many! The price is a great value as well. What more can you want? I'm so happy with this purchase!!
