I have a Viscosoft comforter which I love for colder weather, but as most comforters do, it takes a long time to dry and it's too much for warm weather. I saw this one and thought it was the best choice. I WAS concerned when some said it was NOT plum, as while I get some like REALLY vivid purple, doesn't really go with my bedroom. PROS: FIRST, PACKAGING - I read a review where someone mentioned it came in such a small package they sent back because obviously not thick enough. Well, I loved the packaging. Comes in a zippered case and within that case, my full/queen was VACUUM sealed, so that's why it didn't take up much space. THICKNESS - IT IS a lightweight blanket, but that's EXACTLY what I wanted for summer and fall. SOFTNESS - OMG, feels like a fluffy bunny. WASHING/DRYING - JUST washed it (on gentle, did a second rinse with extra liquid softener) and dried on low. Dried quickly and came out beautifully. There was almost NO lint in the lint trap. COLOR/SHEEN/SLICKNESS - It is a TOUCH more vibrant because of the sheen than the pic, but PERFECT. For me, DEFINITELY plum, just shiny. Looks expensive. For those who say it's slippery, I just tuck in the bottom, no prob with it falling off the bed. SIZE - I WAS WORRIED this would be too large for my FULL bed. I DO have a 14 inch mattress, no box springs, but a high platform bed. THIS DOES NOT hang down far at all. I wish it were a little longer as to keep it from slipping off the bed, I tuck the bottom in a bit, but then it doesn't come as far up to the top as I would prefer. Anyway, it certainly is NOT too big for full size mattress I have! NO REAL CONS, BUT the one concern I have is I have a cat that jumps on my bed. I read a review it can snag. And it is microplush and shiny and lightweight, but we shall see. Right NOW, no cons, but WILL UPDATE if ANYTHING CHANGES. I just got it, washed it and put on bed and so far, THRILLED. This blanket is so soft and comfy! I have washed and dried twice and it's held up well to both. My only complaint is we use it as a middle layer between sheet and comforter and slips and slides between layers.

Purchased for the cold winter snap! It's currently doubled over at the foot of our bed for extra warmth. This blanket is SO soft and durable. The King size is HUGE and is perfect for all the cold days you want to be snuggled under a blanket!

My husband always steals the top quilt, leaving me cold and crabby. This twin size blanket fits my half of the king size bed just perfectly. It's ridiculously soft and cozy, and keeps me plenty warm even after the quilt has been pulled off of me. Love this blanket!
