This one is a winner, folks. For many young ladies this will be a gift well remembered, perhaps even into old age. It happens. I still remember getting a GI Joe for Christmas with a huge jeep for him to ride in and a bazooka mounted in the back for him (i.e., me) to shoot hard plastic bomblets 10' or so away from the jeep after the bazooka spring was cocked. To this day I can still see the box it came in. I will always cherish that Christmas gift, and this big, pink Barbie clothes & accessories closet is very likely to be cherished and fondly remembered by a fortunate little girl that's dear to you. Really and truly it probably will. I guess after the smashing success of the Barbie movie, all things "Barbie" are hot sellers for the time being, and therefore will be priced at a premium due to high demand and boundless greed. So what else is new, eh? At a cool $50 + tax (the price at the time this review was written), that's not overly steep for creating such childish enchantment in the heart of a woman of tender years. If mama still has her old Barbie collection, buy one for her (but two is one too many even for the Grand Dam herself). If you still have YOUR old Barbie collection (how old did you say you are?), it's OK to buy one for yourself too. Really, it is. With all this buying up of pink Barbie closets for mama, yourself, and a youngling or two who is close to your heart, you'd better purchase 'em right away before they sell out. I'm not a prophet, folks, but I can smell blood in the water as well as anyone, and a multitude of Barbie sharks will probably gobble these quickly without taking time to chew. So don't hesitate or procrastinate or there's a good chance you'll be left out of the successful Barbie shark crowd. Then what will happen to you, to mama, and to the little sweet one(s)? After all it's an open secret that the lack of Barbie fashion accessories has been know to drive some to drink, others to drive crazy, and still others to begin a life of crime -- shoe thievery starts very early in ladies who've suffered insufficient Barbie joy-strokes! This closet has space for extra clothes and accessories. It also pulls double duty and works as a playset for your Barbies to get ready and dressed in. We have a 3 year old niece who is obsessed with Barbie. Everything in her life is Barbie or pink. As soon as she saw this she started jumping up and down and yelling BARBIE!!!!! We got the box open, and got to work organizing it to her standards. Then we rearranged it. Dressed Barbies. Rearranged again. Rinse and repeat for about 2 hours. There are small items in the box. If you have a toddler who puts things in their mouth, this isn't your best bet. The shoes and hangers could be choking hazards. If you do have a Everything Goes In The Mouth Toddler, it could be used supervised. I said it was suitable for her age group, but at 3, it's more of a judgement call based on each child.

This Barbie dream closet is a Barbie lover's dream come true! It is such a fun way to organize all of your barbie clothes and accessories instead of just throwing them in a toy box. The accessories that come with this set are really fun and great quality. Everything is perfect from the dressing table to the little logo hangers. I have no negative criticism for this set at all. This would make a perfect gift for a young girl who loves fashion and Barbie dolls. I would have absolutely loved this as a Barbie girl from the 80's!! I still do!
