    • Another Wonderful Color Reveal Advent Calendar 2022
I loved the Barbie Color Reveal Christmas Advent calendar for 2021 that I purchased last year, so I bought the 2022 version. I couldn't be more pleased. I love the real cloth fashions, the fashion accessories, the holiday themed surprises and even the pets. There is the traditional pet, a kitty, but also an owlet and fawn. The outfits can be mixed and matched on their own or with some of last year's items. I understand that the doll is the normal doll with five points of articulation as it would be extremely difficult to make a made-to-move body that could be immersed in water. My only complaint is that the arms only move back and forth. There is no movement up and to the side as in some dolls, which makes dressing her very hard. I recommend this set as a gift for both young girls/boys and for a Barbie-Loving adult such as myself. ... show more

My daughter LOVES her Barbie advent calendar. I usually buy them for her every year. Most of the time, I expect some wear-and-tear to the box as December rolls along. I am not one of those moms who expects the entire thing to remain pristine after being manhandled for almost a month. Usually, the Barbie calendars stay in reasonably good shape for a week or two, but this one started falling apart almost immediately. I think it's the way it's set up with the color change barbie in the middle and then the two sets of gifts on each side. As soon as the color change doll came out, the whole package got wobbly and started falling to pieces. Luckily, my daughter is old enough not to get upset if a door opened by accident, but that kind of thing probably would have upset her a few years ago. The box was extremely damaged when we got it, but I didn't have time to do an exchange. Not sure if that's why the box doesn't stand up well or not. But the tabs to pull each gift open tear easily and they don't stick in the slots. I had my daughter open barbie first so she could have an accessory a day for her. My granddaughter loved this reveal Barbie and advent calendar. She gets a surprise every day to go with her Barbie as she opens up the calendar. It could be a hairpiece, a dress, shoes, kitten with a water bowl. This is just a few that I got to see.
