While this kit comes with a bunch of accessories which is nice, the main reason I purchased it was for the cape and I wasn’t thrilled with it. This may have been my mistake but I assumed the neck would be elastic and have some type of snap closure but it actually has a couple of laces that need to be tied and it’s not elastic. I’m a normal size adult male and I was not able to tie the cape tight enough around my neck. Even when it was tied using the entire length of the laces, it still hung around my neck like a stretched out sweater. I’m used to barbershop capes that are tight around your neck. There’s no way to get this Cape tied that tightly which kind of defeats the purpose. There’s also no overlap of the 2 sides when it’s tied. The cape is shaped for someone sitting in a barbers chair so if you are purchasing this for yourself or for a home haircuts where you will be standing or sitting on a stool, just be aware it will only go about half way down your back. I’m sure this is pretty standard but it was something I didn’t realize until I tried it on. I gave it three stars because it came with a few other useful accessories. If this review was for the Cape only, it would be one star.

This barber set is the perfect starting set it comes with everything you need for trims at home! The cape is great quality, it's also very large and can easily fit an adult. It's soft, easy to clean and light weight. The set also includes a really nice duster brush, the bristles are super soft and very dense making it great to dust those pesky little hairs off your neck or face. The kit also includes, a rat tailed comb and a regular comb, they are good quality they are decent thickness. It also comes with two soft and dense brushes, I find these perfect for brushing beards. It also includes 2 coil hair ties and 4 alligator clips, perfect for controlling long hair. It also comes with a really nice feathering blade too! Overall for the price this is a great home kit, it comes with everything you need and more!

I'll be honest, I own several barber capes. As far as capes go, this one isn't bad! I don't claim to be a connoisseur but I have seen some pretty bad capes and this one seems to be pretty decent quality! What really makes this package stand out to me is the accesories! They give you a LOT. I love me a good neck duster! The one that comes in this package is pretty good. I own softer but I like that this one is not course and has enough density to be able to whack some of the debris off your client. I love the inclusion of four hair clips! I'm starting to cut longer hair and realize how many you need on hand when the client has a big enough mop. I love that it comes with a feather blade and two types of combs. I've never really needed to use hair scrunchies but I imagine they'll have their place. I love that they also give you two fade brushes. I've owned softer but these seem pretty good and I can always use more. They really change the game when you're doing skin fades and need to keep the canvas clean. The accessories really add value to this cape package!

This is a good assortment of accessories for hair cutting! I do mine at home and everything from this kit worked flawlessly. It's nice to be able to brush hair off your neck with the little brush. The cape is a decent size and fit an adult women well.
