I liked the ability to cut through roots with the spiked teeth on one end of the blade. The overall design is nice, but the section your foot goes through should not be made of pot metal as it is too weak and will break, as my first one did. I had to send it back for a replacement, which was very promptly delivered.

Very simple to use, best to make sure the edge of your grass is moist at first use then after that the follow up is easy...you want the entire blade to meet the grass for a clean cut. Love it
