As of the date of my purchase the price was $17.99 which is very reasonable for an edger of this quality. Assembly was quick and easy and the parts appear to be very high quality. I donβt think this would be a great tool for heavy daily use but a perfect choice for occasionally straightening up the edge of the lawn and tidying up the garden. It seems that some have experience problems with failed welds and the tool not holding up to expected use. For now I give it two thumbs up but will update my review if my opinion changes. ππΌππΌ I hope my review was helpful! π

I bought a couple of identical tools from different companies, but I returned them since this one works remarkably well; it's not too thick and effectively performs the tasks required for weeding and creating lines. I use it to clean my driveway, able to scrape all the weeds that grow in between, and it's even cheaper than Home Depot or Lowe's.

I hate to write a bad review, in fact I don't think I've ever rated a product one star. And I'm always especially suspicious of other one-star reviews because nothing could be that bad, right? Well, this garden edger was great -- until it wasn't. It was my very first use of this tool, to edge between my lawn and a flower bed. Less than an hour into the job the weld between the handle and the blade snapped, making this edger instantly useless. Until that point I was going along fine. The blade cut through the turf easily, then snap! I bought this edger because of its price and good reviews. My experience with it is obviously out of the norm judging by those reviews so perhaps I just got a defective one from the start. But at almost $30 for less than an hour's use, I could not honestly recommend this product based on my experience, hence one star. I finished the job using my trusty flat blade shovel and I doubt that I will bother with a tool like this again.
