I bought the Banneton Bread Proofing Basket Set of 2, 10" Round & 10" Oval Sourdough Baskets with Linen Liners for my wife and she absolutely loves them. ‘They are the perfect size for small loaves of bread. They come complete with everything you need to proof and prepare the dough. I would’ve been nice if they included some bread recipes, but otherwise the set is complete. I highly recommend for the baker in your family.

I've been baking bread for a few years, but I never had all the accessories, so this was a pretty good starter set for me. I would have liked it to include bread slings for baking and a manual on how best to use the products, but I can search for that online. The proofing baskets and liners seem to be good quality, and I think they will work just fine. I was happy to get the flour duster which not all sets have. It comes in a nice box so I can keep everything together. This would also make a great gift for someone just starting out.

This is a really nice bread making kit especially if you are just starting out in sourdough. It has two different proofing baskets in different shapes. I like that it comes with liners so you can choose to use them or just flour the basket and put the dough in directly. The scraping tools are a must when working with the dough. My favorite is the flour duster. I use it to both lightly flour my work area and also to flour the dough for proofing. The bread lame comes with extra blades which is nice. I'm still getting used to scoring my bread perfectly, but the bread is pretty forgiving once in the oven. I have tried a few times to score my bread as an art piece. I'm not a master yet, but this set has the tools you need to practice! For all the items in the kit, it's a good value.

Bottom line up front - two pictures, one was my "failure" of sourdough that was too wet. And the second is my wife's continual success with bread. The whisk is great, at least for me. Easily incorporate your starter into the rest of the dough without getting your hands covered. The Banneton baskets work perfectly - even with my very wet dough it released easily without any dough getting stuck. At first, I was wondering why they included a tea bell. Yeah, I'm not a baker. Fill that thing up with flour and use it to coat the basket so that the dough doesn't stick. Effortless and no mess. Grab this kit if you like homemade bread but hate the process - things get really easy with the right tools

Box was opened and some contents weren’t wrapped while others were. It looked like the set was used. Good price for everything, but don’t recommend based on how I received the set.
