    • Expected B&O quality and craftsmanship

I own several B&O pieces and this is my third set of headphones. Everything is top quality as expected. Sound is pure. Not the heavy bass that fees artificial in other headphones but just natural sound, which pairs wonderfully with my music style which leans on adult rock, detailed produced recordings, acoustic and even lo-fi intimate recordings. I flew intensively for the last two months and noise cancellation works very well and fit is perfect for long trips. As expected from the Danish the materials are outstanding as well craftsmanship, and finally these come with a proper case instead of the bag other B&O headphones came in the past (although I mist admit the bag was practical). At Black Friday discount these were a complete steal. Mind you I have all the Apple ecosystem so the AirPods Max would have been may have been a logical choice but to me B&O sound is simply better and on a different league. ... show more

    • Good Headphones but there are better options for the same or less money

Pretty good. I got mine from an Amazon return at a great price. They then went on sale for Black Friday so perhaps I did not get a great deal. Battery life seemed pretty good. They were very comfortable. No issues with Bluetooth connectivity. Size is prefect and the carrying case they came with were good. Sound quality is subjective but I felt these overemphasized the highs and lows. Midrange was lacking. Only no D/A converter so to get better sound I needed to add an external D/A converter. While these were good, the Focal’s are much better. With BLACKFRIDAY deals, I was able to get the Focal’s for almost the same price as the B&O. In my opinion, the Focal’s blow these away for sound quality. The Focal’s are heavier and would be more difficult to use for extended periods of time (over 3 hours) as the headband is really tight. ... show more
