I'm so sorry to say that my coconut oil tastes like Stomach ACID, when you vomit. I'm very serious. I normally buy another brand and have never had any issues with taste, smell or looks. This was my 1st "Happy Belly" purchase, so excited to try Amazon's brand. Well first off, when it arrived, the lid was badly cracked, but the paper seal was still good underneath, no biggie because I keep it in the frig. Next.....Big FAIL, I can't bear the smell or taste. I'm a healthy 55 years old Vegan with no health issues and I don't take any medications that would affect my taste-buds or sense of smell. I had to through it out, I just couldn't bear the flavor or smell. Most evenings.....I heat 1 tablespoon of Coconut oil in the microwave in a clear glass pyrex bowl, for 25 to 30 seconds to melt it and get it warm. I then put about a healthy spoonful of natural peanut butter, that's just peanuts and salt, in the warm coconut oil. I stir it good and I dip my 70% Cacao dark chocolate bar pieces into the warm mixture and apply to mouth! I swirl it around in my mouth while the chocolate melts and blends with the coconut peanut butter mix, then happily swallow.....yum! Well, the minute I bent over the bowl this time, after heating the coconut oil....the smell hit me, yuck! I went ahead and just took a small spoon of the oil only and tasted it and Yuk again! I just can't do it. IS IT JUST ME? ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS EXPERIENCE?

I’m pregnant and trying to keep my stretching skin from feeling itchy and tight is really tough. I bought this because people said sometimes oiling your baby bump can help prevent stretch marks or at least improve comfort of your skin. I’m not sure about stretch marks because I don’t have them yet (knock on wood) but using this as a moisturizer has been absolutely delightful! My skin is absolutely glowing, soooooo soft, and smells delicious (but not overpowering). My skin texture is visibly improved. I’ve started applying to my entire body instead of just my tummy.

I purchased this for my very-dry winter skin. At first I was pleased, but then came to notice that this wasn't being absorbed; it merely sat ON my skin, producing a dry scale-like appearance. I would brush my skin with my hand, and this dry, dander-like substance would fly everywhere like dust. Absolutely disgusting. I wish I had saved my receipt in order to get a refund.

I bought this to use on my leather furniture. It actually worked really well. My husband also used it in his leather boots. Yes, we have tasted it and it taste really good. We have also used it on our skin and it soaks in pretty quickly.

I use coconut oil daily. Internally and externally. However, this coconut oil can feel pretty granularly sometimes. I have to melt it all and let it reharden to get rid of this type of highly undesirable texture. This can be a hassle though. Not something I desire having to accomplish to be honest. To each their own of course.

I should have read the reviews as this tastes horrible and smells horrible. Not to mention when I took it out of the packaging it was already damaged. The broken piece wasn’t even in the box, so let’s me believe that I was shipped an already defective product. I will never purchase this product again and this is what I get for thinking that an Amazon pick would be better. Sticking to my first instinct and going with what I know and what has always worked, waste of money.
