This mattress topper is very soft and gives the perfect amount of comfort to make you feel like you're sleeping on a cloud. When you first take it out of its packaging it will look disappointing and thin. I tossed it in the dryer on low for about 30 minutes and then let it sit out unfolded for about 3 days before putting it on the mattress. It didn't puff up to 3 inches as advertised, but did fluff up. It was worth it to wait the few extra days. It's not going to give you a ton of support like a memory foam topper would do, but it does give a pillow top experience. I have had less back pain since sleeping on it though!

This is a very soft and squishy topper and is definitely luxurious and good quality, but it’s about as thick as a comforter (about half the thickness that it says it is). Even fluffing it in the dryer didn’t make it puff up. If you’re looking for something to help with back pain, this might not be the ticket. Just a little disappointed for $70. I’m buying a memory foam topper to go under it.

I don’t know what the other reviews were thinking calling this incredibly soft and fluffy, and like a cloud. It is INCREDIBLY thin, not much more than a standard mattress pad. Maybe they were getting paid for their review, or haven’t experienced a REAL hotel thick mattress pad, but this definitely doesn’t recreate that experience. My first clue should have been the tiny box it cane in. For the “thick comfy” pad I was expecting I thought it would be delivered to my front door. Nope! The box was so small, it was put into one of the lock boxes at the main postal area I share with my neighbors. My husband said maybe it was wrapped with the air sucked out. (It was.) So as I cut into the packaging I imagined maybe the pad would start to puff up when exposed to air. Nope. Still thin. Still very underwhelming. If you want something to cover your mattress, this will do the job. But if you want something to make you feel like you’re sleeping on a cloud? Look somewhere else. Would NOT recommend.
