I am returning this item, but don’t let that discourage you. The research I did showed this one to be best for back pain and cooling. My back pain became worse, unfortunately. As for the cooling - WOW the first time in years that I haven’t sweated through my sheets. That is very impressive. It is cushy, but not in the way that I wanted it. It fit my king size perfectly. Though the queen size fits a little small in the width; could be about 3 inches wider to fit appropriately. And the color is more green compared to the website pictures which isn't a big deal, but I prefer white bedding (web pics look white with green writing; in actuality the surface is light greenish with darker green writing) which isn't a big deal, but I prefer white bedding. Purchased for a futon (had a 3 inch foam already on top, but needed something more). The topper is nice and thick, but it runs hot. Not sure if it is related to the bamboo content, but just be aware it can be an issue. I read a few other reviews mentioning this and discounted them, now I know.
