I was 50/50 on buying this based on other reviews but I’m SO GLAD I decided to go for it. I fluffed mine on the dryer for about 30 mins on low heat and let it sit out for a day just to make sure it was fully fluffed but I don’t think I actually needed to let it sit out all that time, the dryer was enough. I finally slept on it and WOW it’s so soft and comfy it really feels like a cloud. I wanted something soft enough for a form mattress without totally loosing the support of the mattress and this did just that! I previously had a 3 inch memory foam mattress topper and I felt like it made my back pain worse without enough support and sinking in too much. It came new vacuum sealed in plastic, no odors. I let sit to decompress and dryer fluffed and only got max 1.5” in fluffiest areas. It feels good to the skin, kind of silky and a type of dry slippery that I don’t know how to describe. The pockets were very deep. It was exactly the queen size I ordered and padding went all the way to the edges with a small amount of overlap. In the description it says 2” thick. I did not get that result but it is still a nice padding addition that will help to protect your mattress. If you’re going for the “sleeping on a cloud” this did not do that for me, but for a rarely used guest bed, it will be sufficient. ... show more

I'm a woman who has come to the point in her life when a cooler bedding seems essential. I looked at a few websites, and they all sung the praises of bamboo. So, I bought this. The first day, I unwrapped it and spread it out to let it plump up. Worried that washing it would cause clumping, and I put it on the bed without laundering it. Then, out of curiosity, I laid on it directly on it (without adding my cotton mattress pad cover or any sheets). Immediately, it seemed hot—like it trapped my body heat beneath me. I thought... oh, that's because I've laid on it directly. Once the bed is made up, I’m sure it’ll be fine. That's what the articles seemed to say anyway. NOPE. I would wake up so hot. As soon as I'd shift to a new position, it would feel cooler. I'd drift off to sleep for a moment, until that spot felt too hot, and then I'd wake again. Confused, I went back to the Internet to see why this was happening with “cooling bamboo.” I found an entirely new set of articles. Perhaps bamboo sheets are cooler, I don’t know, but the stuffing isn’t. AND it’s not really considered a natural fiber on pace it’s been processed into rayon. It’s as environmentally problematic as other forms of rayon. Pros: It was comfortable. Given a day to plump up and air out, it didn’t smell. For cold sleepers, it might be quite nice. Cons: Not the natural fiber I was hoping for and WAY TOO HOT. The company was cooperative and accepted my return. ... show more

This product is a great buy. The texture is soft and fluffy just as described. There were no smells and it was ready for use right out of the box. It kept its shape once on the bed. I would definitely buy another one. There was nothing that I did not like.
