It’s a beautiful tree, easy to set up and the pre lit LED lights are awesome. In addition, we are impressed with the additional items included in the package (a pair of gloves, storage bag); it shows how thoughtful the company’s people are. BTW, we are happy to report that we contacted the seller with a non-product related issue and received a quick response with a satisfactory resolution. In summary, a great product by a good company.

11/16/23 - Update...Third year, just put up the tree and the lights are all still working without hesitation. Opted for a Christmas tree collar instead of a tree skirt and it works much better at covering up the stand and lower trunk. 11/25/22 - Update...Second year, just put up the tree and all lights working. Storage bag provided is awesome in size so no need to squish the tree to make it fit. Hence, not as much fluffing needed when setting the tree back up. Love this tree, so far. Lots of space for ornaments. Will provide another update next year. Review from 2021 - Great packaging, great instruction packet and a gorgeous, well lit tree! I am so impressed by how well made and full this tree is. It is our first Balsam Hill tree and everything about it has been first rate. We bought the 7 foot classic blue spruce last January when it was half price. Highly recommended! 11/21/24 - Fourth year and the lights still work without any issues. Also, very few bulbs have burned out and we keep our tree lit even during the day. 12/2/25 - Fifth year and lights still working. Love this tree. I am sold on Balsam Hill.

I purchased this tree in November 2024, and it looked beautiful for Christmas 2024. When I set it up again in November 2025, the top third of the tree was noticeably dimmer and flickering. After completing all recommended troubleshooting, I identified the problem as a damaged strand plug (the female connector was faulty and would not seat properly). Because the tree was still within Balsam Hill’s 3-year warranty, I contacted Balsam Hill to request a replacement section. Despite providing my Amazon invoice showing the purchase was made through Balsam Hill’s Amazon storefront, I was told—after multiple “chat with seller” exchanges and a 1.5-hour phone call—that they could not locate my order in their system and therefore could not help. This was a $450 tree that functioned properly for only one Christmas season. While an Amazon executive team member was kind enough to issue a partial credit (approximately one-third of the purchase price), I am still left with a partially lit tree and no way to replace the defective section. Given the price point and the lack of manufacturer support for Amazon purchases, I will not be purchasing from Balsam Hill again.

We got this to replace another "famous" brand that didn't last 5 years before lights started going out. We strung it along for one more year (even got a cheap set of lights to use on it last year). So we bit the bullet and got this one. It is a nice looking, surprisingly full tree that is VERY easy to assemble. The lights were bright. It didn't seem to take as long as some people have said to "fluff" it initially out of the box... maybe 20-30 mins with 2 people doing it. We didn't store it in the bag (just re-assembled it in the attic) so I can't speak to how it will survive year over year when it lives 11 months stored that way. The reason for one-less star is that the base didn't come with a screw thing to tighten the tree to the base. It wasn't that the screw itself was missing... it was that there wasn't even a hole for a screw to go in to the base. I emailed Balsam Hill, but didn't get a response. It seems sturdy enough, so I don't think it will be an issue, but it seems very strange that they would even have a base without a tightening hole (I could see it getting packed up with a missing screw). Overall, great value for what you get.

First the shipping box was extremely heavy which makes me realize the contents (Tree) was substantially made. Most trees 6.5 in height are not this heavy which means less limbs, less individual branches cheaply built compared the top brands. Don’t get me wrong the weight is not something a woman or man cannot handle. Took about 2 hours to completely fill out all the branches due to the tree was brand new; future attempts should take half the time. The 700 LED lights were spectacular when lit giving full brightness look to the tree. I purchased cheaper trees in the past and the quality was not great. I would have chosen the 7 foot model but it was a bit pricey for my budget. I would highly recommend this Balsam Hill 6.5 Pre-Lit Classic Blue Spruce to everyone, but I also know the economy these days money is reserved (tight) as there are a multitude of tree companies priced far below the Balsam Hill Christmas Tree Line. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

With so many options on the market it's tough to make a decision without seeing in person sometimes! I knew I wanted a BH tree and finally decided to purchase, although pricey I took advantage of getting the Amazon Prime card to get a nice "little" credit. I like that it comes with 2 pairs of fluffing gloves, extra bulb parts, a storage bag and a foot switch to turn off and on without having to unplug!

I have been shopping for a tree with a large diameter for two years. I decided to spend the extra money on this tree after reading some reviews and scrolling the photos on amazon. I purchased the 7ft pre-lit tree (which looked NOTHING like the photo above). It is just shy of looking like a pencil tree, so so disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised it arrived much sooner than expected. I assembled immediately as to not miss the 24hr return period in the event there was a problem. The instructions were so vague, I had to call the company to assist with connecting the lights. The lights on the tree were all tangled (wires hanging everywhere) and half the branches did not have lights at all. Overall, very upset that I spent so much money on this tree.

Perfect little tree for our small family room. I mistakenly ordered the one with only white lights on it, but they are plentiful and bright! We added a small colorful blinking set and it looks wonderful! It also comes with a little storage bag.
