First the shipping box was extremely heavy which makes me realize the contents (Tree) was substantially made. Most trees 6.5 in height are not this heavy which means less limbs, less individual branches cheaply built compared the top brands. Don’t get me wrong the weight is not something a woman or man cannot handle. Took about 2 hours to completely fill out all the branches due to the tree was brand new; future attempts should take half the time. The 700 LED lights were spectacular when lit giving full brightness look to the tree. I purchased cheaper trees in the past and the quality was not great. I would have chosen the 7 foot model but it was a bit pricey for my budget. In addition, we are impressed with the additional items included in the package (a pair of gloves, storage bag); it shows how thoughtful the company’s people are. So realistic. Also pretty easy to shape and once it’s set up you have a natural festive looking tree. Came with a decent looking storage bag. WARNING & CAUTION: Beyond disappointing! At first I couldn’t believe the greatly discounted price for a Balsam Hill tree on Amazon versus the same purchased directly from Balsam Hill. There’s a reason - THEY ARE NOT THE SAME! We purchased a 6 1/2 foot Balsam Hill tree last year DIRECTLY from Balsam Hill, and this year we purchased this 7 1/2 foot tree from Amazon. The difference is incredible, and not in a good way!!! The tree we purchased directly from Balsam Hill has rubberized plastic needles that have a much fuller and realistic look, than the needles on this Amazon purchased tree. This tree has flimsy needles, some of which fall off as you attempt to “fluff” the branches. Additionally, the tree purchased directly from Balsam Hill has what they call “Balsam Hill Easy Plug” built into the tree making stringing lights on an “unlit” tree much easier. The old maxim “you get what you pay for” is absolutely true in this case. Balsam Hill should be ashamed attaching their name to this cheap looking tree. I want to give this tree a 5 star, but the couple of hiccups we ran into bumps it down to 4. When I opened the box to set up the tree, I wanted to give it 1 star. On the very first section of the tree, one of the branch fell off. It was missing the screw that holds the branch in place. My husband (who thinks he's a handyman) decided to find one and rig it. He wanted to put up the tree so bad, like a kid at Christmas 😂😂. After rigging it, we started on the second section. We noticed the gaps between the first and second section, and was disappointed. At this point, we are 45 minutes into putting tree up. We decided to take a break, and decide whether to return it or keep going. While breaking, we came up with an idea to lift the bottom branches. We found some nails, and crawled under the tree, and lifted the branch and placed a couple of nails in each of the branch collar. It worked like a charm!! Thankfully, those were the only issues. The end result was beautiful. I think quality control should have done a better job inspecting. For the price, I expected a higher quality. Overall, it's beautiful. ... show more
