I used these on a mask that my cat had chewed the feathers off. At the time, it didn't occur to me that I needed to search for rooster tail feathers as THAT would be the true replacement of what had been chewed off. To me, a feather is a feather, aside from colors. I looked up black feathers, found these, ordered and used them and they're great as a 6-8 inch black goose feather, stiff and no beetle green sheen, absolute 100% representation as advertised. Hot gluing them to the mask is when I realized the difference. That's on me. It's unlikely anyone but me will notice the difference. But if you need a good craft goose feather, 6-8 inches in length, stiff and sturdy, deep rich black, then look no further, here is your item.

The media could not be loaded. Absolutely stunning feathers. They arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I did not receive any broken or torn. The color was as expected, beautiful white and clean. Created the perfect touch for a "white swan" costume themed design. Sturdy enough to use with glue and stay attached to a horse! Very soft. Great functionality to use on a costume during movement. Worth the value.
