This bench is perfect. It is sturdy, stylish and very easy to assemble, since all you have to do is put the legs on it. I use it to store extra throw blankets to keep them handy and it hold more than I thought it would. Highly recommend this bench, you won't be sorry.

Super easy to assemble, sturdy, and stores a lot

    • Very Difficult to Assemble
We love it, the construction and the look are just what we wanted. And all the hardware bolts and washers were the same size so that made things a lot easier. HOWEVER, assembly was anything but easy. It took about 5 minutes to attach one of the end pieces with 2 bolts. But the other end piece took over an hour to finally get the bolts to thread properly due to the odd angles of the end pieces and the blind assembly - you have to hold the end piece in place and then try to get the bolts to thread properly and if the angle is not perfectly right the bolts won't engage the threads. Almost got a divorce over this frustrating assembly! The legs were much easier to attach, but, of course, the last leg was impossible to thread and after examination you could see some substance inside that prevented the bolts from properly threading. I finally used the "poor man's" method of clearing out the substance from the threads which meant filing a notch in one of the bolts and then using it to rethread/clean the threads. This was difficult assembly even for a DIYr. ... show more

Bought this for my mother, she is 81/yrs old. Now she has a stable sturdy place, to sit while getting dressed and putting her shoes on, that is not to high or low for her. We put it at the foot of the bed. The storage capacity was a less than what I thought, not very deep, but she loves it.
