I ordered these bar stools for our basement bar and they are perfect. These bar stools are built super sturdy unlike a lot of them that say rated to 200 lbs these are heavy duty barstools. My son bought 2 sets of these 10 years ago and they lasted him up until recently when he replaced them because they wanted something different not because they broke. And they look amazing and compliment everything. I looked at other barstools that were expensive and did not want to spend 300-400 on one barstook so took a gamble on these and they are exactly what I wanted. We bought three of these for kitchen island. Very easy to assemble probably about 25-30 mins each. Removed 1 Star because 2 chair the curved back piece of wood did not lineup well with the seat. Even w/ trying to force it together by wrenching the center bolt no help, pretty large gap. Likely know one will ever notice- but I will know and it will about me for the log the stool lmao. It's comfortable and attractive. But be advised that the leather is fake and the painted wood is weak. It will crack under pressure. Assembly was a major pain for one person, especially the need to hold the heavy and unwieldy back piece and seat together while trying to coax the hex bolt into the hole. The same chair is much cheaper at Home Depot if you don't mind waiting a few more days for delivery. But overall I'm satisfied. It looks great and it's comfortable. ... show more

Super easy to assemble and they look great, but they would make a creaking noise whenever anyone sat down. Fixed by installing a screw on each of the four glue joints (see pic). Creaking STOPPED!!

Looks good when assembled. Assembly is not difficult, good picture instructions, just tedious. The Allen wrench furnished is difficult to insert - for much of the assembly, I ended up using a ball end wrench from my tool kit. Unfortunately, with the seat and a few other connections, the structure makes it impossible to do quick turns from the long end of the wrench nor a full turn with the short end, meaning you need to remove the wrench after each turn, and reinsert it for the next partial turn - that's what I mean when I say "tedious." However I had nothing else to do today, so put on some music and took my time. The finished product looks great and 29" is the perfect height for my old bones to comfortably work at the kitchen counter. Seems comfortable - nice thick seat for my rear end. Foot rest works for me. ... show more

I like the look of these barstools. I purchased 4. As you can see from the photos two of the stool backs has small cracks. One on the front and back. One just on the front. The other two are perfect. I would like another back for the one with damage on both sides. Not sure yet how to go about making that request. This was a recent purchase for a remodel. I may try a furniture marker. FYI- they squeak. ... show more
