When I purchased this to keep the bedroom cool in the summer I didn't realize how well it provides humidity in the winter. Since I purchased it in January, I've been using it in my plant room to add a bit of air movement and humidity. It's a really nice fan and the water pump circulates water that trickles down across a filter and back into the reservoir. The air pulls through the filter to send cool/moist air into the room. There's no sound from the water/filter and the fan sound is nice. It came with 4 ice packs that can be used to keep the water in the reservoir cold for more cooling in the summer. Surprisingly, this little ac works well as a personal cooler. Just wondering how much it cooled the air around it and it blew at 62°, while on high. Love the fact that there are three speeds. It also works quite nicely as just a fan without the cooler component. And it's got a 2 hour battery back up. Nice! Lastly, the oscillating feature is a definite perk. Will buy again. ... show more
