4 stars because we just got it. Set up: Take your time, set up was fine. No issues, only confusing part was the metal “stick” but look ahead and you will see where it connects. It wouldn’t ignite initially so we bought a new tank. It still didn’t ignite, no sound coming from it when we turn the knob. Checked to make sure we received a full tank (you can use the hot water trick). Confirmed it was good. Lastly, I used the grill lighter and sparked fire near the exit and BOOM… just like that we had fire. We only needed to do that once. When I turn the knob now, I can hear the gas flowing, unlike initially, before fully igniting. I was getting frustrated and thought it may have been broken. Thank goodness I was able to figure it out.

This fire pit table has quickly become the centerpiece of our outdoor space. The 42-inch tabletop is honestly one of my favorite parts; it’s big enough that nobody has to fight for elbow room or worry about where to set their drink, and it doubles as a perfectly usable table when the fire isn’t on. We’ve already used it for snacks, card games, and just hanging out, and it feels sturdy and secure every time. Assembly wasn’t hard, but it wasn’t flawless either. The instructions could be clearer (some pieces weren’t labeled, and I had a couple moments of “is this upside down or right side up?”). A few screws gave me trouble, though nothing deal-breaking, and once it was all put together, the frame felt solid. Everything lined up the way it was supposed to, the gas parts were plug-and-play, and the propane tank tucks away neatly inside. From unboxing to flame, it took me under two hours with only a couple of muttered curse words along the way, which I consider a win. Now, the actual performance: this thing puts out heat. At 50,000 BTUs, it easily takes the chill off a cool night. Even on a lower setting, it radiates enough warmth that we’ve been able to sit outside longer into the evening without grabbing blankets. The flames look great too, steady, bright, and adjustable instead of just one intensity. We’ve been using the included lava rocks, and they’ve done their job well, spreading the heat evenly and keeping the look classic. Style-wise, it’s modern without being flashy. The black finish and clean lines make it blend nicely with the rest of our patio furniture, and when the burner cover is in place, it just looks like a sleek outdoor table. That versatility is huge for me because it means we’re not dedicating space to something that only has one use. If I had to nitpick, I’d say the instructions and hardware labeling could be better, and I’ll probably swap in some decorative fire glass down the line for looks. But functionally, it’s been excellent. It lights quickly, feels safe and stable, and gives us the warmth and ambiance we were hoping for, without the hassle of wood or smoke. Overall, I’m really glad we went with this fire table. It’s sturdy, functional, stylish, and genuinely makes our backyard feel more inviting. Whether you’re hosting friends or just sitting outside with family, it turns an ordinary evening into something cozy and memorable.

The pieces aligned perfectly, and the connections to the propane tank were secure with no leaks. The included lava rocks look great and help distribute the flame evenly across the surface. After several uses, it continues to perform perfectly. I was skeptical about this, but was pleasantly surprised. Came well packaged with plenty of protection for the pieces - not a single piece was scratched or dented. There were lots of pieces, but they all came together fairly quickly and easily - none of the usual issues with fitment that you often find with some stamped metal products. The fire pit is very well constructed and sturdy. It can be built with the gas tank access door on either side of the pit, providing flexibility regarding where you set it up or use it. The burner pattern is very even with a good-sized flame. Comes with a nice lid to cover the burner and stones when not being used, which also lets it double as a table. Its height is also not too high or low, making it comfortable to sit around. The only things I could “nit-pick” about would be: 1) there are a couple of areas in the instructions which could be written better (but still easy enough to follow); 2) lava rocks could be nicer and more of them (it’s fine as is, and easy enough to swap them for glass beads); 4) the magnet holding the tank access door is weak - the door opens a little too easily. All in all, it’s a very nice fire pit.

Too hard to put together, had to drill our own holes because they did not line up. Starter will not light it up? You can't return so we are stuck...... it's pretty, but instructions are awful!
