Overall I am very happy with the fit of both of these sizes on me.. I am 5'9 and was worried one would be too short or too big, but they both work depending on how you're feeling/want to dress it up. I am also more of a muscular medium build. The medium is a little tighter around the upper thighs/butt, but not too much to where its uncomfortable, just a little more form fitting. The large is a little looser around those areas, but not too loose, and they both feel like the same length. They both look good in my opinion and fit nicely, but be aware that they fit more like joggers than pants if you're taller, they sit above the ankle. I just got them today so I cant testify to the durability, but upon wearing them and first impression they feel and appear good quality and are very stylish and comfortable. I got them on sale too, so I'm happy I got both. I really like them so far and am looking forward to hiking in them.

This is a super comfortable pair of pants. very lightweight and breathable for hiking. It also does good to cover all your legs so as not to get scratched when passing through brush or tall grass. They are also water resistant, and I've had water bottles spill on me that just run off. This product is true to size, not too tight or not too baggy. My favorite feature of this product is the adjustable straps on the ankles as you can wear them loose or tight depending on your personal preference (I prefer them tighter and they do not irritate or cut off circulation). The adjustable tie in the waist is also very nice as you have flexibility in a range of sizes. The pockets are also fairly deep so you can put larger objects in them no problem. Is 100% worth the price. And I likely will end up buying a second pair, I love them so much.

I like the material, colors (Navy Blue and Pond), and overall fit, but these seem to run small. I'm 5'4", 145#, and, in most pants, size 8 is my "go-to" fit, size 10 is noticeably baggy in the seat and loose at the waist, and size 12 is falling off. Going by that, I ordered size M (8-10 US), hoping for a comfortable fit with a bit of room for a thin pair of tights or leggings underneath in case it's chilly. These size M pants fit me like US size 6. I can wear them, but they're so snug around the waist and hip I feel I'm one doughnut away from looking like a sausage. I guess I'll keep them as "aspirational attire" to lose a few pounds, but I've reordered size L for a more relaxed fit.

I bought these for an upcoming hiking trip so I can not yet comment on how they feel a few miles in, but for a short walk, they were very comfy. I bought a large so that I can layer under them if/when needed. I normally would wear a medium. I think the medium would have fit ok in the waist, but would not have been as comfortable in the thighs during a hike with climbs. So if you have muscular thighs you may want to size up anyway. I bought two pairs of these pants and am glad I did!

I’m a size 8-10, and pretty consistently a size Medium in everything, but I’m very glad I paid attention to the reviews that said these run small! I ordered a Large and they fit, but only just barely. There’s a nice amount of stretch in the fabric, so the lack of ease across the belly and bum isn’t uncomfortable. I can’t speak to the rain proof quality yet — I got these to wear for early morning walks in my neighborhood, and the little reflective spots are a nice touch — but I’m optimistic that they’ll be fine for rainy days.

Bought a regular small in black (5'2", 125lbs, 29in inseam) and they fit perfectly and are super comfortable. The drawcord at the ankle is a nice addition. Got these for a trip and wore them nonstop in all weather; hiked, kayaked, biked, and walked everywhere in them. They pack super small and lightweight. Big zippered pockets are actually useful. I stash my phone in a back pocket or the thigh pocket w/no annoyance. Now that I'm home these are still my daily go-to pants. May get more in other colors. Ideal for travel and knocking around town.

I purchased the Pond. A beautiful color! I like it with a salmon shirt. Its hot summer and the pants are comfortably cool and airy. I like that it's spf 50 so I don't need to put on chemical sunscreen. The pants have so many options and functions, apart from being useful in many seasons. I'm normally a medium but went up one size after trying a medium and returning. The waist still runs a bit tight for someone with a short waist. But doable.I just fold it over and voila. It's so thin that folding doesnt make it bulky. I haven't worn it out and about yet, but I LOVE it and highly recommend. I did notice that it is NOT to be worn IN the water, although it can stand some rain. So do be careful. Enjoy, from a Happy Camper.

I wore these hiking for 5 days straight. They dry incredibly fast so I was able to handwash and air dry them at night. I wore them in the rain and I stayed dry. I originally thought they unzipped to make cargo shorts and was disappointed. I’m glad they didn’t. Pushing them above my calf was kind of wonky because they flipped over the elastic but I only kept them up for a few minutes before mosquitoes found me so I wouldn’t want to unzip them off completely. This was a quick change. I also had to go to the bathroom (I was doing backpacking off trails) and the elastic waist helped with that. Anyone who has had to go while hiking understands the importance of easy access. I would gladly buy another pair.
